Death, the eternal savior.

He comes again, selecting another soul.

Walking the world on his evening stroll.

Who will he name as his own?

Just another to stand beside his throne.

I can hear his honeyed words,

like an early spring bird.

He calls out to me,

kindling my glee.

Am I the one tonight?

To leave without a fight?

Will the pills take ahold?

My way of dying, not so bold.

Rejoice, for he is here!

The essence is here, shrouded in shadow.

Beautiful and dark, a midnight meadow.

I fall into the endless night.

Forever by his side, my endless flight.
