~Crystal's P.O.V.~
C'mon bell...ring! I impatiently tapped my pencil on my desk. "You realize that's annoying right?" Missy glared at me. I bitterly stuck my tongue out.
"Oh boo," I hissed.
"Someone's in a sour mood," Emerald sweatdropped.
"She's just impatient," Amy laughed nervously.
"Humph," I grumbled.
"Did something happen while she was at her mom's hospital?" Missy asked, her pumps lightly tapping on the floor.
"Ehh....I guess you could say that?" Amy said slowly.
Riiiiiiiiiiing!!!!!
"Gottagobye!" I said really quickly before dashing to my locker. Luckily I planned ahead and unlocked my lock already. I could not stop thinking about Sting during this whole day. I kept trying to text Mom during class to see if he had waken up yet, but she would either not response or tell me to stop texting her. I grabbed my already ready backpack and dashed to the exit of the school.
Unfortunately, I just had to bump into Amy.
"That hurts!" Amy whined as she rubbed her head.
"Sorrybutstillgottagobye!" I stood back up and sprinted.
"Don't bump into anyone else and give them a concussion!" Amy reminded me as I went out the door and towards Mom's hopsital.

"I'm..*pant*..HERE!" I said as I went through the doors.
"Welcome back," Ally smiled, but then frowned. "Why are you panting?"
"Oh, nothing really..*pant* I'm just panting because I like to," I said sarcastically.
"You said it not me," she smirked. I scowled at her and tossed her my backpack. It took her by surprise, but she caught it with an "oof".
"Where's Mom?" I asked, brushing the dust off my skirt.
"She's looking at the new patient," she replied, a smirk growing on her lips as she put my backpack beside her. "You know, the one you were cuddling with?" Blood rushed to my cheeks in embarrassment. Curse the fact that rumors spread fast.
"Oh hush," I muttered as my cheeks were tinted pink. "I didn't mean to."
"Riiiiiight," she rolled her eyes playfully. "Anyways, your mom told me to tell you he hasn't waken up yet." I sighed with relief, but looked away when Ally's smirk grew even wider.
"C-can I go or not?" I mumbled. Ally smiled softly and nodded.
"Yeah, go on ahead," she answered. I smiled at her and started speedwalking towards room 777. "And don't forget to send me a cute selfie of you and your new boyfriend!" Ally said loudly down the hall. My face grew even redder and I kept a note in my head to get revenge, but for right now I had to see him. I looked for Room 777 and gently opened the door when I found it. There I saw Mom writing down some notes on her clipboard. She looked up when she heard the door open and smiled at me.
"Hey Cryst," Mom greeted me.
"Hey," I greeted back. I walked up to her and looked over to Sting. He was still peacefully sleeping, looking just like how I left him yesterday, well, he had shifted a couple centimeters to the right. "So...still sleeping huh?" I spoke up. Mom nodded as she wrote more stuff onto the clipboard. "What are you even writing?" I asked, peering over her shoulder.
"I was just writing his pulse and condition," she replied nonchalantly, but there was an amused look on her face. "You know, all the medical boring stuff."
"Oh," I blinked. "Then why do you look so...interested?"
"Well, we had taken some X-rays with him, and take a look at this." She led me to the wall to the right of Sting where there was black and white pictures of bones and stuff like that. "Here, see the thoracic cavity here?" she said, pointing to what looked like the rib cage.
"Um....what?" I sweatdropped. I admire anyone who can memorize all these scientific words.
Mom chuckled and said, "In other words the rib cage." My mouth formed an O and I let her continue. "Anyways, this is his heart," she said as she pointed to the heart shape form in the rib cage.
"I'm pretty sure I know what a heart looks like," I sweatdropped with a (-_-') face. It looks pretty big though.. I said in my head, thinking about how sweet and kind he must be. My face flushed red at those thoughts, but I forced myself to continue listening to Mom.
"I know you do, but look at this over here," she said as she pointed to a sphere-like thing close to Sting's heart. My eyes widened in shock and curiosity.
"What is that?" I asked, walking closer to the picture and taking a closer look at it.
"I have no idea," Mom said with the smile she has when she's excited. "That's what is so cool!" As I got a closer look, my eyes widened as I realized what it could be. Emphasizing could.
"S-so...what do you know about it so far?" I stuttered, suddenly feeling tense.
"Well, it's definitely spherical in shape, but we scanned it and couldn't identify what material it's made out of," Mom admitted. She took a glance at Sting. "My idea is that it could be a container to store..." she trailed off and looked at me. I blinked a couple times, thinking about what she thought it could be. My eyes then widened when I had an idea.
"NO, NO NO NO AND NO!" I half yelled, punching Mom in the arm.
"Ow! Okay okay," she sweatdroppped. "It was just an idea.."
"There is no way Sting is....that!" I spat, suddenly feeling very defensive for him.
"Well, there's no way to know for sure," she countered. "Plus, it would provide an explanation for the amnesia. Amnesia can occur from the container breaking and the-"
"DON'T!" I said, pointing a finger at her. "Don't...say...it.." (Mainly because not all readers are old enough to know. ._.')
"All...right then," she said slowly. "You do know what I'm talking about though right?" I sighed but nodded.
"Sting would never," I muttered. "I'm willing to bet my life on it."
"You don't have to go through such extreme measures," Mom sweatdropped again. "But okay, I get what you're saying. We would've detected it anyways through the scan if it was there."
"Why didn't you just say that then?" I facepalmed.
"Hey, I just realized that okay?" she pouted. I sighed and glanced over to Sting. I'm surprised he hasn't woken up from my yelling yet.
"Calling Dr. Rose, please report to the ER. Dr. Rose to the ER," the hospital called. Mom sighed and ran a hand through her black hair.
"Well, I have to go. Stay here and don't cuddle Sting to death okay?" she said as she ran out of the room.
"I WASN'T CUDDLING HIM!" I yelled to her as she ran down the hall.
"If that's what you say!" she called back before she was gone. I sighed and puffed out my cheeks.
"No one ever believes me.." I pouted to myself. I then glanced at Sting who was still sleeping. I looked over to the X-ray of Sting. That thing...it couldn't be... I took out my phone from the back pocket of my jeans and went over to the Contacts app. I clicked on Eliza and pressed the phone icon. "Pick up pick up pick up..." I muttered as I heard the artificial ringing.
