Steve's POV
Me and Alex walked across the grass and into the village, Alex was fussing over the villagers that were wandering around, so far there were no signs of human life. Until of course I walked around the corner of a house and glimpsed another human in black armour. But before I could get a closer look, or he could notice me at all. I was yanked back and pinned against the wall and next thing I know:
I had a blade to my throat.
I was dumbfounded I just stood there against the wooden wall. I took in the boy holding me in place. He had brown messy hair and emerald green eyes. He was wearing a white shirt covered by a dark blue hoodie, accompanied by white running shoes and black pants that seemed to fit him but were a bit too long.
"What the Nether are you doing?" He whispered peeking around the corner. He dragged me into the nearest house with another two humans. One I recognised, one I didn't, the one I recognised was Alex. The other had green eyes, a thigh length dress, nearly covered with long gold hair. "Who are you?" Asked the boy,
"Why do you care?" I asked trying to sound defensive.
"Because you nearly walked headfirst into one of the HA," Said the boy,
"The what?" Asked Alex crossing her arms,
"How about we just start with an introduction?" Asked the boy.
"That would be nice." I said,
"I'm Ryan, Ryan Valve an iron golem hybrid. And that's Lyra Houston." He pointed to the girl. "We are both part of an undercover team called the HTL, and you two nearly walked right into Herobrine's men." I looked at Alex, she shrugged,
"Is it just you two then?" I asked,
"No, we had to separate to cover the towns and villages Herobrine has already taken over." Said Lyra.
"What do you mean already taken over?" Asked Alex,
"He plans on taking over the whole of Minecraftia." Said Ryan, "He believes starting by taking command of villages and cities will give him better chances." I leaned against the wall,
"Who exactly is Herobrine anyway?" I asked,
"You aren't from around here aren't you?" Asked Lyra, I shrugged and decided to be honest with them.
"I think we got amnesia. We woke up on the beach about ten minutes ago." I said, if Herobrine was trying to take over Minecraft then obviously he wasn't supposed to be in control of it. Leading to the thought he was a bad guy.
"Ryan," Said Lyra, "I think they are suspicious of us by now..." Ryan nodded,
"Me too,"
"What do you mean?" asked,
"Been here for about four months." Said Ryan, "And we are the only humans besides Herobrine's thugs anyway so it does raise suspicion." I nodded and walked over to a chair in the corner of the room, the pure thought of waking up in a world of chaos was a little overwhelming. "If only the two heroes were still around..." Said Ryan,
"The two heroes?" Asked Alex,
"The two people who kept Herobrine at bay." Said Lyra, "Then there was the war of Minecraftia and the two heroes vanished." Lyra put some thought into her next words before continuing, "Some say they died, others think they are still out there. Forming a plan to put a stop to Herobrine's growing power."
"What were their names?" Asked Alex,
"I think it was something like Alice and Stevie..." Said Ryan thinking,
"Now you two." Said a voice, and out of nowhere one of Herobrine's men had dropped in from above, "I thought we told you speaking of that was forbidden here..."
