Steve's POV

Ever since we got hold of that command block the amount of protection we had to put up for this place was heightened by far, now there were patrol shifts changing all throughout the day and night, eating time was reduced, along with free time, training time and sleeping time. Sure it was a pain but we all understood why these measurements had to be taken, anyone in minecraft could come crawling through here for it. I was walking quietly through the hallways of the HTL base, maybe if some more HTL members showed up... They were on the run still, weren't they? Ryan said there were more keeping watch over the other towns and cities Herobrine claimed. Then Veronica came and said every member was on the run. Was it us? Or did Herobrine get the catch and went to exterminate them? The only sound was my footsteps, echoing across the hall. So why didn't I feel alone? I walked past the training area and glanced left to see the command block in it's proper place. I didn't stop but continued to stroll and retrieve my sword. If there were thieves anywhere in the base, it would be here. I saw a dark mass on the floor and sped up slightly. Lying there on the floor with straw everywhere was a training dummy, strange, training doesn't start for an hour. Then I tensed, something was here, something dark and evil. I felt as if something was closing in on me, I spun around sword in hand and saw the empty hallway... I must be paranoid, I thought There can't be anything bad down here. But as I told myself this the feeling of evil presence got stronger. I spun around again actually getting a little frightened. This was either real, or just the HTL playing tricks on me, but either way I was amusing whoever it was. Then the feeling was so strong it paralysed me, one thing was for sure: This was no trick. And whatever it was is right behind me. My breathing was shallow, and whoever's breath was behind me was low and quiet. And reaching for me as if drawn. And the final feeling I felt in the HTL base was a hand on my shoulder.

Alex's POV

I sat in my room looking at the clock, Steve's shift was almost over, he's been trying to remember whatever life we had before that moment on the beach but all he got was a dream about Herobrine and the nether dimension.

"Oh Notch..." Said a voice outside, "Oh Notch... Notch... Notch..." Then Lyra barged into my room, "Alex." She exclaimed, "You need to see this!" I followed Lyra in the general direction of the training area, where she did lead me, but not into the training area in which I glimpsed the command block safe, but past it where I saw a savaged dummy on the floor with Steve's sword lying a foot away. Ryan and Veronica were already at the scene on the other side of the viciously torn dummy.

"Does this mean?" I asked hoping for the better answer,

"Steve's gone, he was kidnapped." Said Ryan.

"But then why?" Lyra began,

"Didn't he take the command block as well? We can only guess." Said Veronica sadly.

"But after all he did for it..." Muttered Ryan but then a thought occurred to me.

"What if it wasn't Herobrine?" Ryan looked up at this, "What if someone else took Steve that didn't know or care about the command block?" Nobody could be worse than Herobrine I thought. Ryan shrugged,

"Its a possibility but I don't know anyone who knows or cares about the HTL movement, nor anyone who knows where the base is." Herobrine pointed out. Well crap

"Don't worry," Said Lyra, "We'll get him back."
