Steve's POV
I left my room to find Alex exiting her own as well,
"Veronica?" She asked,
"Veronica." I stated nodding.
. . .
We found and entered the training area and saw Veronica kicking a zombie in the face and having it fall back unconscious. She half turned her face to us. With only half her face in view She pointed to a chest in the corner.
"Choose your weapon." The weapons consisted of bows, swords and a range of tools and other items. After Alex fished out a bow I casually took a sword... Wow.
As soon as I got a good grip on the hilt of the blade a million different sword techniques shot to my head. I turned and smiled at the training dummies. They were in for a beating, that's for sure...
I viciously tore apart the dummies with the sword, anger was taking over my body now. I knocked one clean off it's hinges and across the room, I glimpsed Veronica standing, crouching below the crosshairs as Alex shot arrows all over the room. Getting into wars with the automatic shooters and skeletons. If an arrow came too close to me I would deflect it or dodge. I tore open the final dummy's chest and kicked it in the face. This was when the anger leaked out of me. And I realised how tired I had gotten during the whole thing. I stumbled against the wall and slid down it, Alex was passing each dummy or mob leaving close to ten arrows in her opponents bodies. When she finished Veronica rose and looked around the arrow filled room.
"Well, it seems I underestimated your abilities..." She said breathlessly.
"Seems so." Said Alex panting, obviously receiving a blow of exhaustion as well.
"We might need to move you guys up into the fighting team." Said Veronica,
"So, is training over?" I asked wanting to head back to my room and rest my aching legs.
"Sure, Sure now head back you two." Said Veronica smiling weakly. And head back we did.
. . .
In my room I fell asleep and had a thrilling dream:
I was standing in a courtyard, nether brick surrounding us, Herobrine was just leaving the armoury, I hoped Alex would have the tower breached by now. I caught my first sight of Herobrine's face, an exact replica of myself apart from one thing. His eyes, his completely white eyes. He chuckled and threw the wounded and unconscious body of Alex in front of me, I stared at her and dropped my sword, He added to it by threw her enchanted bow next to her landing next to her face. I dropped to my knees and went pale...
I woke with a start, dripping with sweat and seeing Alex, unwounded and healthy in front of me.
"A-Alex?" I asked with shaking breath,
"Quiet... Are you ok?" She asked concerned.
