This was requested by @babygirlakatiramisu (it was during the time I screanshot it but now it's tiramisubestcookie)
I know they said I didn't have to do both, but I decided to anyways lol
Here's the first part, second part will be next chapter

After School

The bell rang and the elementary kids got dismissed. Kids left classrooms and waited to be picked up. Chestnut didn't have to worry about waiting to be picked up as he rode his bike to school.

"Hey Chestnut," a voice called out to him.

"Hm?" Chestnut turned to face whoever called to him, "Oh hi Tira"

Tira is the nickname for Tiramisu. Tiramisu stood, awkwardly staring at Chestnut's shoes.

"You need something?" Chestnut tilted his head.

"I was wondering if I could ...." Tiramisu mumbled.

"Come again?" Chestnut blinked.

"My dad is really busy today and I was wondering if I could get a ride home?" Tiramisu shuffled and continued to stare at Chestnut's shoes.

"Of course, is your dad ok with it?" Chestnut asked.

"Yeah, he should be," Tiramisu said.

"Ok, let's go to the office so I can get my bike," Chestnut said, grabbing Tiramisu's hand.

The two walked to the office to retrieve Chestnut's bike. Chestnut walked in and talked to a cookie.

"Oh hi Chestnut, ready to get your bike?" The cookie asked.

"Yeah, also I'm going to be taking Tiramisu with me," Chestnut said.

"Does his dad know this?" The cookie asked.

"I'll call him," Tiramisu mumbled as he walked to the phone.

The cookie nodded and got up to get Chestnut's bike.

Tiramisu pulled out a note with his dad's contact information. He doesn't have the best memory so he always keeps that on hand. He dialed his phone number and brought the phone to his ear. It was ringing.

"Hello?" Eggnog spoke.

"Hey dad," Tiramisu said.

"Oh hey Tira, what's up?" Eggnog asked.

"So I know you're busy with work and I was wondering if I can go with Chestnut to head home," Tiramisu explained.

"Of course," Eggnog said happily.

"Ok, thanks," Tiramisu said.

"You're welcome, stay safe," Eggnog said.

"I will, bye," Tiramisu said, fiddling with the cord.

"Buh bye," Eggnog said before Tiramisu hung up the phone.

Tiramisu turned around and saw Chestnut with his bike and the cookie.

"He said it's ok," Tiramisu said simply.

"Well then you are free to go with Chestnut then," the cookie said.

"Come on Tira let's go, also thanks!" Chestnut said, starting to walk out the door.

Tiramisu walked out the door, following Chestnut.

"Stay safe you two!" The cookie at the desk called out.

Chestnut got on his bike and turned back to Tiramisu.
