Epilogue

Miranda's pov:-

Today is Susan's 16th birthday. It's been a year of peace in Narnia. Even though most of the time I spent hunting down the last of the witch's followers, I had Ed with me all the time.

Peter always got the task of taking care of arguments between the Narnians and Lucy helps him with this. Whenever Peter has to deal with foreign dignitaries Eliza always stays him.

Susan is usually in charge of throwing welcome and goodbye parties for the guests. She gets Lucy to help her and sometimes I join her as well.

Ed usually becomes the judge whenever there is a crime. And the fact that we are still hunting down the last of the witch's followers means he has to be the judge most of the time. And everyone calls him Ed now.

Ed and I closer than ever. Peter sometimes seeks me out to ask for help with Eliza while Eliza goes to Ed for help. We both, of course, always help them. There one year anniversary is next month and I have been helping Peter prepare his surprise while simultaneously helping Eliza and Ed plan a surprise birthday party for Susan.

Peter and Lucy always keep Susan busy whenever it becomes necessary. Peter, Ed, Lucy and I are taking care of the final details when Eliza enters and approaches us. "Susan is coming down stairs and a few Narnians have some problems", she informs us.

We look at Peter. He sighs before walking out. Eliza goes to follow but I stop her. "We need your help for this last bit", I tell her.

We finish by lunch time and go to lunch. Lucy is so excited that it was hard to come up with excuses. But we manage.

"Lucy and Eliza are getting Susan ready", I say as I enter Ed's room. Peter is also here.

"What do you think of this?" Peter asks holding up what he will be wearing.

"You will match with Eliza", I say.

Ed and I had already decided what we will be wearing. After the three of us are ready we head down to the ballroom where the party will be.

Just as the clock strikes 5 the doors open and Susan walks in with Lucy and Eliza. "Happy birthday!" We all shout.

As always sometime during the party Ed and I sneak away to the balcony. Peter and Eliza also sneak away to the garden.

I had asked Peter if I can tell Ed about his surprise on their anniversary. He had agreed. I tell Ed about it now and he looks just as excited as I felt when Peter had told me.

"Don't tell Eliza about it", I warn him.

"I would have to be mad to tell her this", he replies.

One month later:-

Elizabeth's pov:-

Today is Peter and my anniversary. During the first two months I was afraid that it would not work between us. But with Mira's and Peter's siblings' help, we managed to make it work.

As always he has been very busy from the morning but he promised me that the evening would be magical.

"I can't believe it's been a year since we got together officially", I tell Lucy excitedly. We had been together for two months before we announced it. Peter and I had agreed to celebrate our anniversary today.

"Neither can I", she replies.

"I need to find Ed and ask him what Peter is planning. Atleast he can give me some hints. I want to be dressed appropriately", I tell her.

She laughs a little. "Don't worry. Even if you go on your date like this I am sure Pete will still swoon."

We both laugh hard at this. "I will like to come with you", I shrug.
