Miranda's pov:-

I am having my dinner with Jadis when Maugrim enters. "Your majesty, a Son of Adam has come and wishes to speak with you."

I look up, surprised. Jadis has already told me what happened after I left them two days earlier. She seem to be a little irritated. "Let's go and see what to do about this boy", she says looking at me. I nod. Together we walk into the throne room. The boy is sitting on the throne and doesn't notice us.

Jadis walks up and grips the throne with one hand while her other hand holds her wand. "Like it?" She asks simply.

He jumps up, suprised to see us. Jadis sits down on the throne and I stand on her right side.

"Uh... Yes, your majesty.", he stutters in shock, and fear it seems.

"I thought you might", Jadis replies her tone becoming darker.

"Tell me Edmund are your sisters deaf?" She asks with confusion. Even I become a little surprised at this question.

"No", Edmund answers with a slight smile. He must think Jadis is mad.

"And your brother", she continues. "Is he unintelligent?" Her eyes seems to grow darker. I feel a bit of pity for the boy. He doesn't even know what he has walked into.

He starts to answer a little confused. "Well I like to think so, but Mum says-"

"Then how dare you come alone?" Jadis screams at him, making me jump a little. Thankful she doesn't notice it.

"I tried", He begs.

"Edmund, I asked so little of you", she says in a condensing tone. "You couldn't even do that." I can't see her face and I am thankful for that.

"I did bring them halfway", he starts to beg with Jadis. "They're at the little house at the dam, with the Beavers", he states quickly.

I know that's where Eliza is too, I have seen her there. She hadn't noticed me. But he surprises me by not saying anything about her.

"Well I suppose you're not a total loss then are you?" Jadis spats at Edmund.

Edmund surprisingly asks whether he can have some Turkish Delight. I raise one of my eyebrows while Jadis looks at him then turns towards Ginarrbrik, whom I had not noticed until then. "Our guest is hungry."

Ginarrbrik knowing what it meant goes upto Edmund, draws a knife and holds it at his back. "This way for your num nums", he states gesturing towards a hallway.

"My dear Mira, you know what to do." I nod. While walking out I glance to my side and see Edmund looking at me with wide, pleading eyes.

Maugrim is already waiting for me at the armory. I grab my sword and go down to the stables to grab my horse, Killian.

Once I am ready we set off for the dam. Maugrim and I watch as the other wolves tear the dam apart. By the time we get inside it is empty. One of the wolves finds a secret passageway. We enter it immediately and run through it. When we reach the end it is already blocked.

"Move", I command. They obey me. I use my magic to remove the obstacle which happens to be only a barrel. On the other side, a fox is pacing around the area.

"Greetings gents and dear princess, " the fox states. "Lost something, have we?"

"Don't patronize me. I know where your allegiances lie." Maugrim snarls.

"We are looking for some humans." I state.

The fox looks at me puzzled. "Humans? In Narnia? That's a valuable bit of information, don't you think?" He states.

Maugrim tilts his head and a wolf jumps up and grabs his neck. He is airborne. This is not how I would have done this if I was alone.

"Your reward is your life." Maugrim states, clearly having lost his temper. "It's not much", he lets out a harsh laugh. "But still."

I notice the fox quickly look up a tree. So that's where they are. But I stay quite. "North", the fox finally says. "They ran north."

"Smell them out", I order. Looking at Maugrim I say, "Report back as fast as possible." He gives me a nod and runs off. By this time, the fox is lying at the foot of a tree. I look north to make sure that they are really gone.

I make my way to the fox and kneel down beside him. He looks at me terrified. "It's ok, I won't hurt you." I reassure him.

I place my hands on his neck and they start glowing a gentle yellow. "How is that feeling?" I ask him.

"Good", he replies happily.

I finally look up the tree he had looked at. I see the humans and the Beavers. But what really catches my attention is that my sister is with them. They finally climb down. I can see that Eliza is being extra cautious around me. "I'm supprised. Why didn't you just tell Maugrim where we are?" She asks confused.

"If I told him where you are then it would have revealed the fact that I didn't kill you 50 years ago."

Hearing this she scoffs. "After killing me, are you going to drag them to Jadis?"

I shake my head. "I have no intention of killing you. And definitely no intention of taking them to Jadis"

She seems surprised at this. "Why don't we all sit down and talk?" I ask.

After we sit down and a fire is started, which I did with my a flick of my hands, I start to talk. "My name is Miranda. I am a daughter of Jadis." While saying this I raise an eyebrow at Eliza. She shakes her head.

"Just like Mira, I am also a daughter of Jadis." Eliza continues from where I left off. "But the difference between us is that I left while Mira decided to stick around." She says this while glaring at me which I completely ignore.

"You can either keep blaming me for not leaving with you or you can listen to what I am going to say? So which one sounds better, Elizabeth?" I use her full name so that she knows I am being serious.

"So let's hear it."

"I know where Aslan's camp is. Its on the very front of your thoughts. And I also know about a secret passageway which leads to the stables which our dear mother doesn't know about."

"But it leads to only one.....", Eliza begins but I cut her of. "I know and that one happens to be the only empty one. Well it was until half an hour ago."

She looks surprised at this. "But why?" She asks finally.

"Ask me that question when we meet again, dear sister." Saying this I get up and go to fetch my horse.

"Good luck, you need it." Eliza yells after me. I give her a short smile and then go off towards the palace.

Looks like Mira wants to join her sister. But why is a very good question. Will Eliza be able to forgive her sister?
