"Good morning Y/l/n" Griffin smiled as he leaned on the lockers beside mine
"Morning Steinfeld" I smile as I take out books from my locker
"Whatcha doing this afternoon?" Griffin questions tugging on the strap of his backpack
"Absolutely nothing" I answer as I close my locker "Why?" I question leaning against my locker facing Griffin
"Wanna come over to mine so I can beat your ass in Fifa?" Griffin joked as we walked down the long high school corridors
"Hey that was one time!" I laugh "you know I'm better than you" I add as we take a left nearing the biology classrooms
"Whatever you say Y/l/n" Griffin sarcastically said lifting his hands to his chest in defeat
"I'll prove it to you" I announced as we stop in front of my classroom
"Sure Y/l/n. Sure" Griffin sarcastically laughs
"Your house after school" I shortly say as I enter the class leaving Griffin outside in the corridor.
Griffin is a senior and I'm a junior so we don't share any classes which kind of sucks since we've gotten closer over the past year. We met at a mutuals friends party and kept in contact ever since. Even though everyone thinks we're dating we are most definitely not. Griffin has a secret girlfriend that no one knows about except me. I met her a couple of times and she's really sweet. And I'm gay so I definitely wouldn't go for Griffin.
(Time skip)
"Hey that's cheating!" I yell as I point to the screen with my controller
"It's called skill Y/n. Not cheating" Griffin laughed as he scored yet another goal "Ha! 2-0 for me. Admit it Y/n I'm better" Griffin cheered as he stood up celebrating his goal
"Never" I groaned out throwing my head back in frustration "Let's play another one" I suggest as I grab my controller
"Sure let me just get us some more chips" Griffin says as he takes the empty bowl that was in front of me
"Kk" I say as Griffin exits the room
After a couple of minutes the door opens and I expect Griffin to walk through but instead a female figure walks through.
"Hey Griff hav-- oh hi" She smiles towards me
Just then I can totally see her. She's wearing only a sports bra and shorts. Her brunette hair falls elegantly on her shoulders and her glowing hazel eyes piercing right through mine. Her sports bra was lifted enough to expose her perfectly toned stomach. The shorts were short enough to highlight her firm legs.
Wow. Who is she?
"Hi-hi" I stutter out my eyes still wondering around her body
"Have you seen Griffin?" She questions leaning against the door frame and crossing her arms
"Uhm he went to get more chips" I answered as I ran my hand through my hair trying to get my gay panic under control
"Oh cool. Mind if chill here a bit?" She questions pointing to the spot next to me
"Yeah sure why not" I nod as I move over making space for her. She pushes herself off the door way and sits next to me.
"I'm Hailee by the way. Griffins sister" she introduces herself as she makes eye contact. She extends her hand for me to shake.
"I'm Y/n" I introduce myself as I shake her hand
"You Griffins girlfriend or something?" Hailee questions as she leans back on the couch
"No we're just friends" I respond as I take a sip of my drink
"You guys playing Fifa?" Hailee smiles as she nods towards the TV
"Yeah. To be honest he's kind of beating my ass" I smile as Hailee laughs
"I know he's pretty good" the brunette confirms. We hold eye contact for a few seconds and my eyes flicker down to her lips. She leans in and so do I, before our lips lock Griffin enters the room. Hailee and I jump apart at his presence
"We're out of chips" Griffin announces as he flops on the couch between Hailee and I "Haiz what are you doing in my room?" He asks as he looks at Hailee
"I was just getting my charger back" Hailee answers as she unplugged the charger next to the bed
"Okay get out" Griffin emphasised
"Fine. Fine." Hailee shortly says as she stands up "nice meeting you Y/n" she adds as her eyes dart back in my direction
"Nice meeting you too Hailee" I smile as she walks out
"Hailee is off limits Y/n" Griffin sternly says
"I know don't worry. I would never date your sister" I laugh it off as Griffin picks up his controller
That was such a lie. I would date that woman in a heartbeat but as Griffin said off limits.
