Summary: Y/n and Hailee are 16 years old. Their relationship is amazing until one day something unexpected happens.

I walk through the hollow halls of high school until I approach my locker. As I open it I gasp, feeling a pair of hands wrap around my waist.
"Relax my love it's me" Hailee whispers in my ear before kissing my neck softly. A smile immediately tugs on my lips as I lean back into her touch.
"Hi baby" I smile as I close my locker
I feel Hailees lips tug into a smirk, before she turns me around, stepping closer so my back hits the lockers. I gasp, looking up in her eyes. My arms wrap around her neck as hers travel down to my waist to keep me in place.
Her lips finally connect with mine. Both of us melting into the kiss. I place my hands at the back of her neck, pulling her impossibly closer to me. She squeezes my waist, making a soft moan escape my mouth. Hailee tries to insert her tongue but I'm quick to block her. She groans against my lips before pulling away. Both of us catching our breaths as we stare into each others eyes lovingly.
"You are so beautiful Y/n" Hailee compliments
"Thank you" I immediately blush at her compliment
"You free tonight?" She questions. I nod signaling for her to continue "Wanna come over to mine? We can watch a movie and I need to talk to you about something really important"
"Yeah sure I'll be there at 7" I smile. I glance over at the clock and back into her eyes which never left mine. "We should get to lesson"
"Yeah I guess" Hailee smiles, pecking my lips and interlocking our fingers. I smile as we make our way down the hall.

"Babe you okay?" I glance at Hailee who is sitting next to me
"Yeah sorry just zoned out" she shakes her head then smiles at me.
"You sure?"
"Yeah don't worry my love" she leans in pecking my lips. I smile at her before turning back to the group of our friends that are sitting across from us. Hailee interlocks our fingers and squeezes my hand a little bit. A thing she does when she's nervous or sad. I brush my thumb over her knuckles and rest my head on her shoulder. She kisses the top of my head, squeezing my hand again.

"Bye mom!" I yell as I leave my house. Cold air greets my skin as I step down my drive way towards my car. I unlock it and get in strating the car and driving.
As I drive I start thinking what important thing Hailee wants to talk to me about. We haven't had any fights lately, we've never been closer. I haven't done anything wrong and I hope she hasn't done anything wrong. This whole important conversation thing seems out of the blue.
The thought track continues and eventually I'm at Hailees front door knocking. The door opens and I'm greeted by Hailees mom.
"Hi darling" she smiles at me
"Hi Mrs. Steinfeld" I smile "I'm here to see Hailee. Is she here?"
"Yeah she's in her room" she steps aside so I can go in
"Thank you" I smile at her before making my way to Hailees room. As I approach the room I take a deep breath and knock.
"Come in" Hailee shouts. I carefully open the door, spotting my girlfriend on her bed. She smiles as I enter. She makes her way over to me, placing her hands on my waist and kissing my lips.
"Hi my love" she whispers
"Hi darling" I smile
"What do you wanna do?" Hailee smiles
"Can we just cuddle and watch a movie?" I ask
"Of course" she pecks my lips again, taking my hand and leading me over to her bed. Hailee leans against the headboard. I snuggle up to her side, resting my head on her chest and wrapping an arm around her waist. She kisses the top of my head before turning on the TV.
As the credits of the movie roll, I look up to my girlfriend only to notice a tear slip down her cheek.
"Babe you okay?" I lift myself up looking at her as more tears stream down her cheeks "hey, hey talk to me" I place my hands on her cheeks wiping her tears away. Hailees teary eyes look into mine.
"I'm sorry Y/n" she breaths
"Sorry for what? Babe you're scaring me" I ask with concern in my voice
"I got the role and--"
"Oh my God! That's amazing baby" I exclaim with excitement
Hailee has been auditioning for ages for all kinds of roles. Recently she was auditioning for Amber in a new upcoming movie. She was pretty nervous and excited at the same time.
"Yeah I guess" Hailee fakes a smile
"Then why are you crying? What's wrong?"
"I-i have to move away Y/n" Hailee whispers
"Wh-what do you mean?" Tears pull in my eyes at the thought of Hailee not being here
"My family and I are moving to New York for my role and-- so Griffin and I have more opportunities" Hailee mumbles staring down at her hands
"B-but what about us?" I choke back a sob as a tear falls down my cheek
"W-we have to break up" She says, her voice breaking
"No, no" I shake my head
"We have to Y/n... we won't work long distance" Hailee whispers letting her tears fall
"Hailee please we can make it work" I take her hands in mine making her look in my eyes. "Please I can't lose you"
"I'm sorry Y/n. I'm so sorry but this is how it has to be" she cries, placing her hands on my cheeks and brushing my tears away. She connects our lips in one last kiss. The kiss brings me joy as every time we kiss but knowing this is the last time I will feel her lips on mine makes me sad.
"I love you Hailee" I say through tears as our lips disconnect
"I love you too Y/n" Hailee sobs
"I love you so much" I mumble
"I know my love and I love you too, but we can't keep saying it anymore" Hailee whispers. I launch myself in her arms. She wraps her arms tight around me like she never wants to let go. I burry myself in her neck, letting tears escape.
After that I left Hailees house. That was the last time I saw her in person. The last time we kissed, last time I hugged her. Last time we said I love you. Last time we cuddled.
Hailee was my first love and as I move on in life it seems that she is the only one I want.
