Summary: 10 years after the break up Y/n and Hailee meet again

"Morning beautiful" I hear as a pair of hands wraps around my waist. A smile tugs on my lips as I lean back into her touch. She rests her head on my shoulder and kisses my neck softly.

"Morning my love" I smile placing my hands over hers

"What you doing today?" She asks twisting me around so I face her

"I'm taking doing one photo shoot and that's it I think" I smile tracing my fingers up her arms

"So then I get you all to myself?" She smirks

"Maybe..." I smirk placing a soft kiss on her lips. After we part I glance at the clock and notice that it's time for me to get going. "As much as I want to stay with you I have to go" I smile pecking her lips again

"I know baby" she smiles letting go of me "Drive safe" She says as I leave my apartment. I nod at her smiling before closing the door

I park my car in the first available spot and exit it locking it afterwards. I make my way into the building. One of the staff members greets me and shows me the camera equipment I will be working with.

He leaves the room leaving me alone. I scan the equipment taking it in my hands to get a feel of it.

"Right in the ma'am" One of the staff members says to who I assume is the model. She thanks him but I still don't look up so I don't see her

"Right if y--" I lift my head up and stop when I see who is standing in front of me

"Hailee?"

"Y/n?"

After Hailee and I broke up in high school we never had any contact. I've seen a couple of her movies and I've always been proud of how far she's come.

It was hard moving on from her and it took me three years to finally start dating again. After having a failed relationship I'm currently in an okay relationship with a girl called Isla.

As our gazes lock I feel a smile tug on my lips. Memories flood my brain and she smiles as well.

"Hi" she smiles

"Hi" I smile looking down at my equipment "right we should get started"

"Yeah sure" Hailee says making her way in front of the camera. She drops the robe around her reveling the outfit underneath it.

I scan her body. She's wearing black workout leggings and black sports bra. The outfit shows off her tones stomach and highlights her strong arms.

"You alright Y/n?" She smirks snapping me out of my trance

"Yeah yeah, I just-- you look amazing" I say looking in her eyes now

"Thank you" she smiles and I notice her cheeks flush a shade of pink

"Okay let's start" I say and Hailee nods "Just do your thing Haiz" The nickname slips past my lips and I notice Hailee smile at it.

"And that's the last one" I say as I snap the last picture. Hailee relaxes from her pose and takes a sip from her water bottle.

"You actually became a photographer" Hailee chuckles setting her water bottle down

"Yeah I did" I smile

"That's amazing Y/n. I'm proud of you" Hailee smiles coming closer to me

"Thanks. And you're an actress that's incredible" I say

"Yeah it's pretty crazy" Hailee whispers

"Well you deserve it" I smile as I set my camera down. We both smile looking at each other for a couple of moments. Hailee steps closer to me leaving inches between us. Her gaze flickers from my lips back to my eyes. I follow her actions flicking my gaze from her lips to her eyes.

She leans in barely brushing her lips against mine, before they connect I lean backwards a little bit not letting them connect.

"I'm sorry. I can't" I breathe

"Oh I-- I'm sorry I don-t"

"No it's me.. I'm seeing someone and I can't." I sigh

"Yeah sorry I get it" Hailee says taking a step back "can we get coffee as friends? You know catch up"

"Yeah that would be nice" I smile

"No way she said that!" I laugh

"Yeah she certainly did" Hailee laughs taking a sip out of her coffee

Hailee and I are currently sitting down on a park bench just talking with coffees in our hands.

"This was nice" I smile

"Yeah it was" Hailee smiles "so who is she?"

"Oh her name is Isla" I say "She's nice and I like her, but our relationship has been rocky for a while now so I don't know what do"

"Oh" Hailee sighs "what do you mean by rocky?"

"We've been fighting and every fight ends up with us.. you know fucking... and it's like that almost every day so I don't know" I fidget with my fingers

"I mean that's a bit toxic isn't it?" Hailee whispers

"Yeah not a little bit it's really toxic.. I mean I haven't had much luck in relationships" I admit looking up in her eyes "the only good relationship was with--"

"Me?"

"Yeah" I whisper

"Y/n I know I fucked up--and I know you are dating someone, but I want to try again" Hailee says reaching for my hands

"Hailee I-- I can't" I say pulling my hands back a little bit instantly missing Hailees hands on mine

"Y/n please"

"No Haiz you don't get to just walk into my life and we can just pick up where we left of it's not how it works" I raise my voice a little bit "you left, and to rebuild what we had takes time"

"I know Y/n but I want to try again. Please" she pleads. I look at her not saying anything as I stand up "I know I'm just a wrecking ball in your life but I--" Haikee stands up but before she can finish I cut her off

"You're not a wrecking ball Hailee! You're my soul mate!" I shout "and we both made mistakes. But I've never loved anyone besides you. And I want you so bad but I can't break the trust Isla gave me"

"I know but as you said we are soulmates. And I will wait for you Y/n, take as long as you need and if you still want me I will be here waiting for you" Hailee shouts "I've never loved anyone besides you" Hailee is so close to me I can feel her breath on my lips

"Fuck it" I whisper smashing my lips onto hers. Hailee is surprised at first but kisses me back. We pull away and I look at her smiling "I need a couple of weeks"

"I will wait"
