Never To Old~N. Stilinski

Chapter 1

Quinn James was currently sitting down drinking a glass of wine while going through paperwork. This was one of her few days off and she was trying to get some work done that she was behind on. It was peaceful in the small house until her phone disturbed it. "Dr. James." Anytime the James women would have a phone call she'd alway use her professional voice not knowing if it was a work call. "Ah don't use that professional voice on me." Came the voice of her best friend. Quinn and Melissa have been best friend since Melissa started her residency and been inseparable since. Quinn was the first to find out Melissa was pregnant with Scott and became his god mother. "What can I do for you this lovely evening Mel?" Quinn questioned. "So Scott has a game tonight. And I wanted to see if you could tag along, I mean it's be a while since you've seen him due to work and I figured it would be a good surprise. He misses you."  Melissa rambled out. Quinn sighed she knew it had been a while since she saw her godson and that was because of her work schedule. "Sure I've got nothing better to do besides sit here and do paperwork. What time?"  Quinn asked putting her papers away in the folder. "We could meet at 6:30 and head that way." Melissa stated trying to contain her excitement. She couldn't wait to see her sons surprise when he saw Quinn there. She knew Scott missed his god mother cause he would always ask when she was coming over. "Ok that's sounds good imma get off here so I can get ready and I'll see you soon. I love you Mel." As soon as the golden blonde haired women hung up, she looked at her glass and sighed so much for enjoying her glass of wine. The women could never tell her best friend no especially when it came to Scott, That boy has had the women wrapped around his finger since he was born, So she stood up dumped the wine in the sink and rinsed the glass out before heading to her room to get dress.

Quinn was now with Melissa as they head to find a place on the bleachers. Quinn was already walking up the stairs when Melissa spotted her son and waved at him. Scott smiled, Happy his mom was here not noticing his godmother. The two women found a seat in the middle row when a gentle man in a sheriff uniform walked out to them. Quinn couldn't help but notice how good looking the guy was. "Hey Noah." Melissa greeted the man sweetly. "Hello Melissa."  Noah greeted back, he then noticed the women sitting beside Melissa and smiled softly at her. "Who's this?" Melissa smile looking between the two seeing the look they had in their eyes. "This is my gorgeous best friend and coworker Quinn James. Quinn meet Noah Stilinski." Quinn smiled softly standing up and holding her hand out. "It's nice to meet you Mr. Stilinski." Noah chuckled shaking the women's hand "Please call me Noah." Quinn just smiled and sat back down sliding so Noah had room. "If you don't mind me asking which ones yours?" Quinn asked softly. Noah looked at the golden blonde haired women "He's number 24 he's the one on the bench." Noah stated. He knew stiles was always on the bench but he was still proud of him. "What about you?" Noah asked. "I'm here for Scott. He's my godson so I figured I'd surprise him since I'm usually working all the time." Quinn replied. She felt bad not having spent a lot of time with Scott as he got older but she still loved him as her own. "I understand. Being sheriff it seems I'm always working and barely spend time with family." The two continued to talk and get to know each other while watching the game unaware of 2 sets of eyes on them. One being from the curly dark haired women who was smiling at the interaction of her two friends and the other being from a young buzz cut boy sitting on the bench not sure how to feel about his dad talking to a woman.

The game has now ended it was just Melissa and Quinn standing around talking as Noah had to take a call and talk to his son. The two women we're currently waiting on Scott. Who was currently in the locker rooms. Noah sighed walking over to the women "Alright well I've got to get to the station to do paperwork it was lovely to see you Melissa, and it was good to meet you Quinn." Noah exclaimed before rubbing the back of his neck. "Is it ok if I get your number I would love to get to know you some more." Quinn smiled while nodding. "Sure I would love that." Holding her hand out to take Noah's phone she put her number in while he did the same to hers. "I'll text you and call maybe we can schedule a time to get together." He stated smiling softly before telling the two women bye and walking away. Quinn looked over at her best friend seeing a knowing look on her face causing the blonde to roll her eyes.

Before Quinn could call Melissa on it she was crashed into being picked up and spinned around causing the women to squeal. "Aunt Quinn!" Was what she heard after being put down causing the girl to spin around before pulling Scott into a hug. "Scotty! Hi honey." The women greeted pulling out of the hug only to have Scott keep his arm around her shoulder keeping her close and Kissing her head. Scott was happy his god mother could make it. He hasn't seen her in a few months due to her working. Scott then remembered something. "Aunt Quinn I want you to meet someone." Scott stated turning around with his arm still on her shoulder guiding her to his best friend. "Quinn meet stiles. Stiles meet my god mother Quinn but she's like a aunt." The women smile politely at Stiles while the boys eyes scanned over her trying to see if there was anything suspicious about her but couldn't find anything. "Hi." Was all Stiles said. Scott just rolled his eyes before looking at the women with his puppy dogs eyes he only gives her when he wants something. Quinn sighed "Yes honey?" Looking at the boy. "Can Stiles and I stay the night." The women looked at Scott shocked. He hasn't asked to stay the night since he was in 6th grade. "If you want to you know you always have a room and if Stiles wants we can set a room up for him to. This shocked Stiles he just met this women and she's offering to let him have a room in her house, Stiles didn't know how to feel cause this was the women he saw talking to his dad but if she was this sweet maybe they could hit it off, heck he just met the women and was already starting to love her. "Sure! I mean that's if you don't mind." He smiled softly at the women. "Alright well I'll call your dad and let him know Scott's staying at the house and your joining him." The Golden blonde stated walking away to call Noah leaving two shocked teenagers. "She already has my dads number!" Stiles stated shocked. Scott just laughed already knowing Noah and his god mother hit it off. Quinn motioned for the teens to come on after letting Melissa know that they were leaving with her. That night when they got to her house her and the boys stayed up till after midnight watching movies and falling asleep on each other.
