Chapter 15

It's been a couple days now and there has yet to be any improvement doctors were starting to lose hope on their coworker and friend. Noah was lucky that the station was being understanding during this time but the kids still had to go to school. Noah was currently sitting in the chair at Quinn's bedside holding her hand. "Quinn please wake up. Stiles and Autumn need you, I need you. Just please wake up I love you." He begged before leaning up kissing her forehead. Noah had barely left her side unless someone force him to go home to rest for a couple hours. They each would pretty much take shifts the James women's room was never empty it was always Scott stiles Melissa and Noah who would switch out. When Scott or Stiles would be on watched despise their differences they would sneak Derek in knowing how close the two were. When Derek first visited he had to hold himself back from crying at how fragile his sister figure looked.

After a couple hours Stiles came in sending his dad home to be with autumn and rest a little. He was slouching in the chair when he heard groaning. Stiles sat up quickly and noticed Quinn was awake. "Mom?" He spoke gently. Quinn just made a another noise cause her voice was to dry to speak. Stiles realizing this grabbed the fresh cup of ice water and gently sat on her bed making sure he didn't move much. "Here drink some." He stated holding the straw for her while reaching over pressing the call button.
After taking a good amount of water she pulled away. "What happened?" She asked her voice cracking from just waking up. "You were in accident. You've been out for a couple days." Stiles explained as the doctors walked in. The doctor had explained everything that she needed to know before leaving the mother son duo alone. "I need to call dad Scott and Mel." Stiles stated pulling his phone out to call everyone. While he was doing that Quinn was trying to understand what happened. The last thing she remembered was heading home and that's it.

As she continued to think about it she remembered the lizard looking thing run in from of her. She gasped as she remembered causing Stiles to look at her alerted. "What's wrong?" He asked as he rushed over sitting on the bed. "I remember what happened. I was driving home when suddenly the lizard looking thing ran out in front of me I swerved to avoid it and lost control." She explained causing him to sigh. Whatever this was had come to close to his family again he was tired of Quinn getting hurt because of the supernatural. Sometimes he wish he didn't even go out to look for that body.

About 30 minutes later Noah had rushed through the door with autumn on his hip. He rushed over to Quinn's bed sitting in the chair at her bedside. Autumn had begged to be put down so she could go to Stiles. The little girl walked over to where Stiles was sitting on Quinn's bed causing Stiles to pick her up and put her on his lap. Noah reached over gently grabbing Quinn's hand. "Hi baby. How are you feeling?" He asked gently. "I'm fine just sore. I'm sorry I scared you guys." Quinn apologized even though it was something that couldn't be helped. Noah just shushed her it was something that could have ended in tragedy, but thankfully it didn't come down to it. So the family of 4 sat their talking and catching up on what Quinn missed while she was out.
