Chapter 7

After her and Noah finished their activity the two headed to work. Quinn had now been at work for about 3 hours when a boy rushed in carrying a strawberry blonde girl in his arms "I need help here!" The boy yelled. Quinn rushed over as a couple nurses brought a hospital gurney. "Put her in room 2" Quinn stated rushing with the nurses. "Someone find out the patients name please and get me details on what happened." Quinn demanded. The doctor scanned the girls body when she found a bite mark. Of course he had something to do with this. Quinn did the mandatory precautions. Before cleaning the wound and putting a patch over it. "Dr. James the boy said her name is Lydia Martin. He had found her on the lacrosse field." The nurse stated causing the women to look up. If this was Lydia where the hell was Stiles. "Call the Sheriff now!"  The doctor demanded. "And would someone please clean her up a little." One of the nurses offered and Quinn thank them walking out the door. "How is she?" The boy who brought Lydia in asked. Quinn sighed "Her body is having some kind of reaction I just don't know why. I have some test being run as we speak." The boy just nodded.

Quinn walked back to the nurses station and started doing paperwork for Lydia and a paper stating that she was going to be Lydia's doctor while she's here. After talking to Jackson Noah rushed to Quinn "Please tell me you've seen Stiles." Quinn shook her head. "I haven't seen him I'm getting worried. What if something happened to him?" Noah sighed "Hopefully he's okay." Noah stated reassuring her and hisself pulling Quinn into a quick hug. Just then the two heard rushing footsteps causing the two to look to see who was coming. Noah pulled away from Quinn looking at his son angrily. "You know what? It's good that we're in a hospital, because I'm gonna kill you." Noah stated. "I'm-I'm sorry. I lost the keys to my Jeep. I had to run all the way here." Stiles stammered out he could already tell by the look Quinn was giving him that he would have to explain everything. Noah just looked at his son. "Stiles, I don't care." Stiles sighs he was so tired of tonight it was supposed to be a good night and now the girl he loves is in the hospital. "Is she gonna be okay?" Noah saw the worry and exhaustion on Stiles face. "They don't know... Partially because they don't know what happened. She's lost a lot of blood, but there's something else going on with her." At that Stiles looked at Quinn "What does that mean?" Quinn sighed knowing he was going to ask. "it's like she's having an allergic reaction. Her body keeps going into shock. I've already put paper work in stating that imma be her doctor the whole time and that I wanted Mel as my nurse" Quinn explained knowing that it would ease his nerves. She decided to walk away to leave the father son duo to talk. "Dr. James here's Ms. Martins test." A nurse explained handing Quinn the test results. "Thank you." Quinn looked at the test but didn't see anything wrong maybe it just had something to do with the bite.

The women sighed looking up just in time to see 3 guys dragging Stiles and Jackson into a room. She sighed aggravated already done with dealing with people tonight. The woman rushed to the door just in time to see Chris pin Stiles to the wall "Excuse me, I demand you remove yourself from my son immediately." Quinn stated in a angry tone. Chris turned and noticed the doctor while Stiles looked at her shocked. He couldn't help but feel happy that she called him her son maybe this was a step forward. "I'm sorry ma'am." Quinn looked over the man she had heard him talking about the werewolves and Stiles had explained the situation and how the guy in front of her sister had caused the Hale fire. "I suggest before you threaten teenagers, You should talk to that sister of yours. I mean she is the one who caused the Hale fire. Now if I were you I'd get out of here before I called the sheriff and let him know I'm having a disturbance especially if his son is involved." She threatened moving out the man's way so he could get through. Before looking at the two boys "Go you two I figure you have somewhere to be I'll call if anything changes." Both boys nodded Jackson rushing out before Stiles cause the boy was still staring at her shocked. "You called me your son." The women chuckled "we'll talk about it later go." The boy nodded kissing her forehead before rushing out to find Scott.

It was now 5 hours later and Quinn was practically forcing herself awake. The women was working over time to make sure she was around for Lydia if something happened. She was sitting in a chair at the nurses station looking through paperwork when her eyes started closing. "Aunt Quinn." Scott exclaimed scaring the women awake. He's never seen his godmother this exhausted and he was worried. "Are you ok?" Quinn signed. "I'm fine honey it's just been a busy day." She explained. "What did you need." She asked. Scott scanned his eyes over his aunt's face noticing how exhausted she actually looked. "Is there a way I can get in to see if her bite healed? "The women nodded. "Go but if you get caught I know nothing." The boy nodded rushing to meet Stiles so they could check on Lydia. Quinn sat back down going through the Charts. She still had 6 hours to go. But was thinking about staying just to keep an eye on the strawberry blonde.

About 30 minutes later a coffee was placed in front of her making her look up to see Stiles. "Hey Quinnie I figured you need that." The woman nodded taking a sip. "Thank you honey." She knew he wanted to talk but she wanted to wait till he said something. "Quinnie can we talk about earlier?" Stiles was nervous and didn't know why he already knew she saw him as a son but the past months that he's know her he's seen her as his mom and couldn't help but want to call her that. He was 10 when his mom died and he had forgotten what it was like to have a female figure in his life and then Quinn changed everything and changed it for the better.
