It was the next day, the day of the big audition.

Yesterday we voted on the song that we were going to perform as a group. We decided that Losers was our audition song.

As we finished the final practice i got a call from the new owners of the label. "Hello?" I said answering the call.

"Yes may i speak with the lead of the band please?" Asked the woman on the phone.

"This is her, what can i do for you?" I ask as i swat the rest of my band members away.

"Yes this is Michelle with the record label calling about your audition in an hour.."

"Yes maam that would be correct."

"Unfortunately we are falling a little behind schedule today and wont be able to make it to your studio till around 11:30." The lady says on the other line.

"Oh yes thats totally fine it can be pushed ba- wait. You said you wont be able to make it to my studio? Forgive me but i was under the impression that the audition was at your building?"

"Oh no dear. We have it in our notes here that you were to be sceduled for an audition today, 11 oclock at your place.."

I sighed. "I dont recall any of my bandmates ever bringing this up but it is alright. It will do, we are here practing anyway."

"So sorry about the mix-up dear. We will see you around 11:30." The michelle lady said and then hung up.

"What was that all about?" Jake asked while polishing his guitar on the studio couch.

"That was Michelle, from the label.."

"What did she say?" My loving boyfriend asked appearing next to me.

"She said that the audition is being pushed back to 11:30..." i frowned.

"Sweet that means we get to practice a few more times right?" Jake asked.

"Yes but...she also said that they were coming here. Not us going there!" I frowned again.

"Why is that a bad thing?" Katie asked from her drumkit.

"Because im just now finding this out...i wasnt prepared. Now i probably have to get snacks and drinks set out for them to be a good hostess.."

"No you dont. Who said that?" Aryia asked.

"Me."

"Dont stress it. Well be fine." Katie assured me.

"Yeah but i couldve sworn i got a confirmation text and email about the audition being at their place..here ill even look." I say taking out my phone and scrolling through my emails. "Aha! Right here it says it. 'This is Michelle and Alexander emailing to confirm your appointment at 11am next Thursday. The appointment will be held in room b15 at our building on Carson Street.' See i told you!"

They all looked at the email and agreed it was weird. "Thats weird. Why the change?" Aryia asked.

"I agree, they wouldve called." Jake added.

"Are you sure neither one of you did this? Maybe it was an accident?" I asked.

"No. We know just as much as you do.." Katie defended.

"Do you think it would be anyone thats out to sabotage us?" Jake asked.

"Its a possibility. But who.."

"I mean i have a few ideas bu-" aryia atarted but interrupted by the intercom.

"Im sorry to interrupt this conversation but i have and Michelle and Alexander down here waiting for you." Called the associate from the front desk.

"Okay, i  be down in a moment to collect them. Thanks!" I say and began the exit the room. "They're here, you guys ready?"

"As we'll ever be."
