Rintarō was anxiously biting his bottom lip while he pretended to pay attention in class.
Why did he have to lie to Aran? Why did he do that? And how was he gonna get out of this?
He silently grunted as he slumped down in his chair.
The teacher was giving the class a sermon on how proud she was of her students.
"I can proudly say that I've seen you guys make progress. I'm glad that you guys have shown commitment and put in the work that was needed. Almost everyone in this class has a sufficient grade, almost everyone..." Ms. Nakamura trailed off.
"I'll be handing back your test papers now, I've written some feedback on the top. Put up your finger if you have a question about the grading." She spoke as she walked around the classroom, giving each student their test back.
Rin's ears perked up when he heard Ms. Nakamura talk to Aran.
"You did a great job. Try to watch your spelling though. I overlooked it this time, but next time I'll have to be stricter." She winked at him, Aran chuckling in response as he nodded his head.
Rintarō adjusted in his seat and sat up straight as the teacher was approaching him.
He sighed to himself when he made eye contact with Ms. Nakamura.
She didn't look too pleased...
"Mr. Suna..." She trailed off.
Rin already knew that he was the one who scored an insufficient grade.
"Ms. Nakamura..." Rintarō answered.
...
There was a moment where she furrowed her eyebrows at her student in confusion. After a little she scoffed and shook her head in disbelief. The teacher grabbed Rin's test from the pile of papers and slid it on his desk, upside down...
"Meet me after class." She said in a stern voice before walking off.
Rintarō let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in. He turned his head to look at Aran who was covering his mouth in an attempt to hold his laughter.
Rin rolled his eyes before he coldly grabbed his test paper and turned it.
'49%'
...
"Damn..." Aran mumbled from beside him.
Rin gave Aran a dirty side-eye before he read the feedback that was written down.
'Very disappointed. I'm convinced that you can do better,
show it !!! (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू)'
Rintarō let out a deep sigh.
"At least she took her time to draw a sad face?" Atsumu shrugged from behind him in a failed attempt to make him feel better.
Aran and Rintarō turned their heads to face their friend.
"What'd you get?" Aran asked Atsumu.
"78%" Atsumu grinned. "You?" He asked Aran.
Aran smirked before slowly turning his paper and holding it up, for both Rintarō and Atsumu to see the score that was written above his paper.
'84% ٩( ᗒᗨᗕ )۶'
Aran chuckled at the sight of Atsumu rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"Not fair, Y/N probably helped you." He scoffed.
