I spent the last few days at Faye's. We had fun. Some standard teen girls sleepover to be honest. We baked, watch movies, and had a pillow fight. Just stuff like that. We facetime with Jack a couple of times. He seems like a fun and nice guy. I will get along with him if Faye really ends up dating him.

I texted a bit with Lizzie but I have not told her about me staying with Faye. I don't want to bother her with that. I haven't heard anything from Brooke.

''Meaaaaaaaaa'' I hear Faye call me, I turn around to face her.

''Fayeeeeeee'' I say back, mocking her nagging tone.

''Want to go to a party tonight? Jack invited us to this party of a friend of his.''

''Are you sure that is a good idea? We don't really know the guy and he is 18.''

''So? Let's take a look, and have some fun. We can always go back home.''

''What about your parents? They are never going to let us go.''

''Uhm, we lie?''

''Yea sure. Make a good one up and I am in.'' I say hoping Faye can't make up a good lie. I don't want to go to a party. I don't want to be around guys and alcohol. I don't like the combination.

''How about we say that we are going to the orphanage? And I am coming with you for moral support.'' Faye says after a few minutes.

''But'' I go to say but she interrupts me.

''Riley, listen. I really want to go. I really like this guy. Let's just go and see what happens. Pleaseeee go with me!'' She drags her last sentence out, pulling out some puppy eyes and a pout. She knows I will give in to those puppy eyes.

''Fine, but I am borrowing your clothes.'' She cheers and runs towards her closet. The pulls the door open and starts pulling out dresses and stuff.

Faye's parents believed the lie Faye told them. I was and I am highly uncomfortable. I don't like lying. Lying had bad consequences. Faye was happy and ran upstairs to change. I stayed downstairs just staring into the distance.

''Riley, honey? Are you okay?'' I hear Faye's mom, Diana, say to me. I look at her.

''Yes, I am fine,'' I say looking down again.

''Are you sure you're ready to return to the orphanage?'' She asks she is so sweet, but she is forcing me to lie now. It is Faye's fault, but her mom is now forcing me to talk.

''Yes, it's fine. I can't stay here forever.''

''You are always welcome to stay here, honey! Even on school days'' she says, giving me a wink. She has this rule that no one can stay till after dinner on school days. She pats me on the shoulder, knowing I am uncomfortable with hugs, and leaves me alone with my thoughts.

Faye and I are wearing matching outfits: some black jeans and some crop tops. Faye's top is back and mine is black with white stripes on them. We finish putting on some make-up and wait for when it is time to leave. We spent the 10 minutes waiting, talking about everything and nothing like we always do. We walk down the stairs and yell bye to Faye's parents. They yell bye back and we walk down the street. Jack is picking us up around the corner so Faye's parents don't notice.
