''It's fine, now can we get out of here?'' I ask and she nods. We walk downstairs and meet Robbie and Brooke in the hallway, there is some tension in the air but I don't know why.
''Oke, well bye Riley I hope to never see you again,'' Brooke says and she walks away. I hear Robbie sign and Lizzie grabs my shoulders in comfort.
''It's okay guys, I hope to never see her again'' I say and they let out a small laugh before walking out of the house. We put my two bags in the trunk before taking out seats in the car. Robbie drives and Lizzie sits next to him while I sit behind him. Lizzie looks over her shoulder and smiles at me.
''Ready to go home, Lee?'' Robbie asks while looking it me through the mirror and I nod at him.
''Born ready.'' I joke as we drive off.

Riley POV
On our way home I stare out the window. I can't believe this happened. I remember asking Lizzie if she thought I would ever get adopted and she said yes. I wonder if she knew back then. I bet she did.
''We're home'' I hear Robbie say before he gets out. He walks to the trunk and grabs my bags. I haven't moved yet. I also didn't notice Lizzie moving into the backseat until I hear her scream a little. Before I turn I hear Robbie laugh. I turn my head and see that Lizzie tried to climb in between the two front seats but her foot got stuck somewhere causing her to fall. I also laughed at her. I look back and see Robbie entering the house with all my stuff.
''He left you,'' I say also Lizzie scrambles up and flops into the back seat.
''Yea, he is done with my shit.'' She says as she laughed and I laugh with her.
''It did look pretty stupid,'' I say
''Did you just call me stupid?'' She says, raising an eyebrow
''No, I called you pretty stupid,'' I say with a smirk, Lizzie laughed and shakes her head before putting her arm around my shoulder.
''Are you okay, sweetie?'' she asks and I nod my head.
''I just can't believe this. Why?''
''Why what?'' she asks.
''Why did you two adopt me?''
''Because we love you and care for you and you deserve a loving family. One you once told me you missed. We will do everything in our power to give you that even though we have no idea what we are doing.''
''My mom used to say something like that''
''What did she use to say, sweetie?''
''She always said; your dad and I have no idea what we are doing but the three of us can figure it out together,'' I say as tears fill my eyes.
''Your mom was a very smart woman,'' Lizzie says and I hum, she was. ''Ready to see your room?'' Lizzie asks and I nod and open the car door. I slowly walk in and I kinda already know my way around the main parts. I hear something in the kitchen so I walk in there.
''Hey, Riley, want a drink?'' Robbie asks as I walk into the kitchen.
''Water please,'' I answer and he nods, turning to the fridge and grabbing a water bottle.
