Riley POV

''Hi!'' I greet as I enter her car.

''Hi lovey,'' she says back, ''How was school?''

''Like school, so let's get the hell out of here.'' She laughs at me as she drives off.'

''Okay, so, Rose is at her dad's, Cosmo is at his grandparents, and Colin is working so we have the whole day and evening to ourselves!'' Scarlett says and I smile at her.

''That sounds fun! Although I'm a little sad I don't get to meet the kiddos'' I admit

''Yea, well I couldn't risk you putting their picture out,'' She says while giving me a wink before focusing back on the road.

''Who says I'm not going to leak your address,'' I say back.

''Who says I'm taking you to my house...'' She argues and I laugh. I have nothing to say to that.

''Okay, funny. What are we doing?''

''mhh, movies? Food? Deep conversations?'' She lists

''How about a combination?'' I ask and she nods

''Sounds like a plan'' Scarlett says. during the drive we sing along with the song I put on, we make a stop at the store and buy some snacks that I'm willing to eat. Scarlett doesn't comment on anything but just asks what I would like.

''So welcome to my home'' She says while opening the door and she gives me a tour of everything. It's all very cute and I compliment her on it. Next thing I know we're both sitting on the kitchen counter with some tea and we're in a deep conversation. Well I'm telling her all my secrets, and I have no clue why.

I just started talking and didn't stop. Scarlett is just listening to me and nods every once in a while.

''Damn, that's a lot.'' She says after I'm done.

''Yeah, I know. I asked Lizzie to fix me this weekend in an emotional moment but she told me I didn't need fixing, like come on.'' I say honestly.

''Well, I think she is right. The people that did that to you need fixing. You need to heal. Healing is not the same as fixing.'' She says

''Well, I think about that differently. But that is okay.'' Scarlett nods and we both finish our tea.

''Can I tell you something?'' I ask while she is preparing some dinner.

''anything, lovey.''

''Do you think Liz is homophobic?'' I ask and Scarlett burst out laughing.

''What? Not in the slightest. Why?''

''I don't know, just think about stuff sometimes. Hold up, you aren't homophobic right?''

''No I'm not Lee, Lizzie isn't and Robbie isn't. You can be whoever you are with us, we won't judge you.'' She says while looking me in my eyes so I can see she is being honest.

''Okay,'' I say

''Why did you ask?'' Scarlett adds and I just blurt it out, no thought, and somehow it felt good.

''I'm a lesbian,''

''Okay, fun! Any girls you like at school?'' Scarlett says

''No, I guess not. I mean there is one but I've never talked to her. My friend had tho.''

''The boy you were walking with?''

''yes, that's Levi! I recently met him and we became friends pretty easily. I'm pretty sure the girl is his sibling though so it's weird.'' I tell her

''why, is that weird?'' She asks and I shrug, it's just awkward.

The conversation flows into others and we just get to know each other better while eating the pasta she made. After that, I help her clean up and we decide to shower and get in our pj's. We move to the living room and lay on the couch.

'''Wanna cuddle?'' Scarlett asks me and I'm a little hesitant. ''You not needy or anything. I love cuddles too! It's totally okay to do, lovely. Come here.'' she says

''Why do you and Mama have to see right through me?'' I ask her and she laughs until something hits her

''Mama?'' She asks.

''Yeah, you know, Liz,'' I say like it's nothing

''Since when do you call her mama?'' Scarlett asks

''Since yesterday officially,'' I say with a smile and she smiles back at me. I snuggle into her side and she kisses the top of my head.

''I'm proud of you for letting her in, hon!''

''Thanks, Auntie Scar'' I say knowing that will make her smile and the squeal she lets out conforms it.

''YES! I got an auntie. Gotta make Robbie jealous later.''

''Stop bothering him. He is like a dad to me.'' I say a little more seriously. I don't want him to get mad at me.

''Okay, I won't then. What movie do you wanna watch?''

''Kodachrome''

''Good choice''
