"Mom, hurry up, I have to go," I shouted from the dining room. It was already late and I had to reach the institution time because from there, we would take the minibus to the woods.

"Coming Amy." Mom said as she hurried with the hot pancakes.

"Ummm good," I said as I devoured them hungrily. She was surely the best cook.

"You are the best mom," I said and she smiled and settleddown. Although she was a doctor and superior to my dad in position, she held no arrogance and at home, she was only a mother and a humble wife.

"Are you sure you want to go?" My dad asked me as he threw a glance casually at the newspaper.

" Yeah, what happened to your phobia?" Mum asked casually as she checked her phone.

" Yes, I want to go and concerning the phobia about the woods, I want to combat it," I said confidently but deep inside, I wasn't ready at all.

I agreed just because of Shawn but there is no way I would tell them. I didn't even tell Jenny and Rain the reason why I agreed to go.

"That's good Milly. That's like my good girl. Besides, I don't grow princesses, I grow warriors." Dad cheered and we all laughed.

"And I was thinking that, I will drop you to college because if you go on scooter, it will be parked there for three days, one, it will block a place unnecessarily and secondly, security is quite low so I will drop you and will come to pick you up there once you arrived, what you say?," Dad concluded and I nodded.

"Okay Mum, bye, take care," I said as I kissed her goodbye.

"So, is it the woods you are visiting?" Dad asked as he gestured towards the woods which we were passing by.

It was on my way to the university and was mandatory to pass by as it was by the highway and there weren't any other shortcuts to the university. My stomach twisted as I saw the woods. I can't believe that I was going to step in it.

"I don't know yet, they didn't mention which one. There are only two woods, this one and the other one but the other one is far away and apparently, this one is closer to the university, so I don't know." I concluded and dad nodded.

"There you are," Dad said as we arrived. We got out of the car and dad handed me my bag and I saw that the minibus was already parked and a crowd was already around. I was perhaps late.

"Thank you dad." I hugged him.

"Take care." He said.

"Of course dad. Don't worry." I hugged him once again and we bid goodbye and he left.

I waved at him as I watched him drive away. My stomach twisted as reality hit me. I am going to the woods. The mere thought of this made me feel nauseous. I need to overcome this fear. I need to do this for Shawn. I can't hurt him again. I pushed all the thoughts aside and went to join the group.

Shawn was taking everybody's presence and signature. There were only ten students in all including me as five students including Rachel and her two friends refused to go.

She said that those kinds of places were too unsophisticated for her. However, it was a plus for me as she won't be there to pester us. The students were in their casual clothes such as jeans and shirts with only their backpack as Mr Bishop asked us to bring only a few essential things and some clothes.

Jenny, Rain." I greeted them as I joined them.

"Amy, you are late, go and sign. Almost everyone is done and we would be leaving in ten minutes." Jenny informed me and I nodded.
