It's been two days since I went into the woods and I couldn't get over the fact that, I regret not meeting Aithan.

The only thing that comforted me was the Taj Mahal; he somehow "gifted" me. It was another thing that I kind of fought with him to have it but in the end, he did give it to me.

"Amelia, I have good news for you, sweetie." Pamela, my boss, a short blond with thick black spectacles in her mid-forties. She was a very kind and compassionate lady.

"Tell me, boss," I said in a quiet monotonous voice as I pushed aside my laptop to pay attention to her. Most of the time, her good news was bad for me.

"So," she said with a wide smile as she took a chair and sat in front of me.

"As you know, we are having a major fallout of trp those past weeks but we finally have an opportunity to make that up," she informed with bright eyes.

"How?" I asked curiously.

"Well, the Holy Cross house of the Angels orphanage in town and
a Foundation organized a charity show there, so the board of directors decided to send our most capable journalist there, that is you, to have every moment of it, from day one. And we got to know that the director of the orphanage permitted only us to document the whole thing from day one." She cheered.

"And when is that?" I asked because I started to doubt their doings.

"Ehh, tomorrow. " she smiled nervously.

"I knew it! and who are they sending to Italy in my place huh? Tara? Right?" I asked angrily and she nodded.

"Why boss? Why? Just because she is warming the bed of one of the board of directors doesn't mean that she can get what she wants. I already prepared everything. My flight tickets are already booked, my hotel and everything. I was supposed to go. This festival documentation is my dream. They even selected me as the perfect candidate for it then why did they back off at the last moment and choose her instead of me?!" I yelled and it was the first time my boss saw this side of me and I was sure that I won't even have the job anymore.

"Please, calm down, I know it's unfair but I'm helpless, it wasn't my decision,  it was of the B.O.D and I don't even like Tina's way of working, she is an amateur journalist but think about it dear, the foreign documentation isn't more important than the orphanage's one and perhaps taking into consideration about your potential, they selected you."

"I have confidence in you Amelia, I know only you will be able to do this work perfectly. You will be able to raise the television rating point with your way of working, the whole office  depends on this coverage. If this office closes, we all would be jobless. Please, I request you." She said sincerely.

I did understand her but I also had dreams about this foreign trip. But she was right, if this channel shut down,  we all would be jobless. If they really depended on me then I would surely try my best for the coverage of the orphanage.

"Okay, I will go." I smiled faintly.

"Tomorrow is day one of preparation but you can go today and have a look today so you can get an idea of what it's like," Pamela suggested.

"You know boss, you better give me a treat because first, you canceled my foreign trip over an orphanage's coverage that is a few miles from here and secondly you are sending me somewhere that has kids and you know I'm allergic to kids. I hate kids very passionately, bloodsuckers." I rolled my eyes.

"Don't worry girl, you will have a big treat. " she laughed.

"I better do."
