"Hurry up, close the window of your bedroom and take your jacket with you, it's windy outside." My mother yelled from the downside as I gave a final touch on my face.

"Ready." I smiled as I smacked my lips together allowing the lipstick to blend. I picked up my jacket and proceeded to join the others downstairs.

"Am I looking decent, mom? I asked and she smiled as she took my jacket and made me wear it.

"You are always beautiful." She smiled genuinely.

Ding dong. The doorbell rang. My heartbeat increased with that sound. I didn't expect this at all. All this happened suddenly.

"He is here, have a nice time." My mother cheered as she ran her hand through my neat hair.

"Good morning Shawn," my mother opened the door and greeted Shawn.

I was feeling a little bit awkward as I saw Shawn with a big heart-warming smile on his face. Who would believe that, one month ago we were on the verge of a breakup, our finalised wedding was about to be cancelled, or should I say already cancelled if my mother wouldn't intervene?

My mother made me realise that Shawn indeed loved me. The fact that I didn't reciprocate the feeling is another thing. Both my parents told me that one should marry the one who loves them, not the one who they love because one-sided love always hurts.

I knew I was being selfish because I wouldn't be able to love Shawn as he loved me but I needed love. I decided to bury the rest of the past and move on with life. I patched up with Shawn and now we were going for the remaining shopping for our wedding which was due in three weeks.

"Good morning Ma'am." Shawn smiled as he kissed my mother while his gaze was fixed upon me. This guy always made me drool.

He was dressed in black slim jeans and a dark blue blazer. His hairs were as if he just got out of shower, in short he was just perfect.

"Where are the others?" He asked.

"Her dad went to the hospital, what would you expect with doctors in the house?" My mother joked and Shawn smiled. I was kind of hurt.

I was the only one in the house who didn't choose a high-income profession, I always wanted to be a journalist, to write the truth. My parents didn't object once but I know they always wished that, at least I would have followed in their footsteps, but I didn't.

Or should I say that I couldn't? I wasn't capable for a doctor. They asked Angel about her choice but for me, they just decided that I should be their shadow. Despite their utmost effort and mine also, I failed twice in medical entrance exams and eventually, they dropped the idea and I went to pursue my dream.

"Good morning love." Shawn approached and placed a light kiss on my lips.

"Morning, slept well?" I asked as I adjusted my hair.

" I slept well enough but in three weeks it's gonna be the perfect night's sleep for the rest of my life." Shawn smiled and my mother nodded before her mobile rang.

"Sorry guys, I have to pick up this call, have a safe trip and enjoy well, Amy, make sure to shop moderately." My mother chuckled and went to attend her call in the kitchen.

"Well," I smiled as my eyes locked with Shawn's." His gray eyes were full of love, and a hint of hunger or lust. I had a pang of desire that arose every single time my eyes locked with him. I just wanted him to touch every single inch of my body. I just lust for him uncontrollably and with every single part of my body. I just want him to dominate me. I liked his touch. I liked the feeling of his touch.
