It's been exactly one week since I went to the woods and encountered with that mysterious man, Aithan. On top of that, Shawn's proposal.

It's been a roller coaster of emotions this week but everything was back to normal between Jenny and me. She even introduced me to Jeremy who confirmed her story. They indeed were a couple.

Shawn and I denied to even meet as couple. We were more than friends now and I didn't want to tarnish the bond between a student and a teacher as it was already unethical what we did and were planning to do.

But love was unpredictable, right? It could happen to anyone. Shawn was attracted to me without even knowing that I was his student.

Even that we planned to date after graduation, keeping the professional strictly professional, I was sure that there would be people to disagree with us, this included primary, my mum.

But for our own's happiness, one didn't need permissions or approval of others, at least I didn't.

I was tempted to go and meet Aithan so many time but I couldn't find the courage to do so.

After countless of struggles, I finally decided  to go and meet him. I even had an excuse to go. I had to return him the dress which he loaned me.

So, I took three balls of yarns, better more than less, and proceeded towards the highway woods.

My heart raced and fear started to build in me as I approached the woods. I braced myself and stopped my scooter at the side of the road, where Aithan's house was visible.

I parked the scooter on the side and tied the yarn to it. The road was desert, as usual. Only the chirping of birds filled the airs.

As I was sure that the yarn was firmly attached to the scooter, I started unwrapping the ball of yarn and went deeper in the woods.

My phobia was manifesting deep inside of me but I pushed all those thoughts and feelings apart. All I wanted to do was to help Aithan , because one thing for sure was that, he needed help, that too, desperately. After all, why would someone that young take an antidepressant and lived in the woods?

All he had to do was to extend his hand, for sure, I will help him out of this darkness that he fell into.

I continued to advance towards his house. The first ball of yarn was about to finish so I quickly tied another one to it. Soon after, I reached his house.

I was happy and nervous at the same time. I didn't know how would he react. Or if he was even at home.

Keeping it all positive, I put the ball of yarn in my handbag and put it down, near his doorstep.

I took out the plastic bag that contained the dress and quickly brushed my hairs with my hands and adjusted my dress.

I just hoped that he would be happy to see me as I was to see him.

I knocked on the door three times and adjust my posture. A big smile was plastered on my face. I quickly put my hand in my pocket to see if I bought the thank you gift. I was glad that I didn't forget that.

After several minutes of knocking and waiting, I finally gave up. Perhaps he wasn't at home. I tapped my palm on his door one last time and picked my backpack up.

Finally, I heard the sound of unlocking and a few seconds after, I met with, as usual, a pissed off Aithan. I should admit, he was looking really hot. In one hand, he held a towel, droplet of water was dripping off his hairs, rolling on his neck, ending on his shirt, leaving his white shirt slightly wet. The smell of aftershave mixed with his perfume filled the air.
