Y/N's POV
When I put everything together and discovered that Castiel was the angel that had been following me I must admit that it triggered my fight or flight response and I knew I couldn't fight, not that I even would have, but I was still uncertain of the man, no, the angel. I didn't know if I could trust him just yet. I didn't know if I could trust any of them really.
If the supernatural really was out there, maybe it was best to stay with those that seemed to know how to deal with it, but that didn't mean I would trusted them completely. I was still keeping my guard up around them all.
When Castiel had disappeared after dropping the biggest bombshell I had ever heard, Dean sat me down and spoke to me. "Cas is only looking out for you" he had said to me.
"He's been watching me. Do you understand how creepy that is?" I snapped at the hunter.
Dean took a breath and gave me a slight smile, "Look, I don't want to go into details, or tell you that you should friend him, but just promise me you will hear him out"
I stared at Dean and said, "Why? Why is it so important that-"
Dean gave me a sound that was like a growl, obviously frustrated by me, as he got to his feet and said, "I tried!" as he walked over the metal stairs and ascended them quickly.
I laid on my bed now thinking back to the conversation, wondering why I should even worry about Castiel. I mean, he gave me the biggest news, that he was looking after me and then left me alone with two men, who were complete strangers to me. Well, you did come home with them. Why did I do that? I questioned myself. Maybe I should leave? No. Stay close to those who know the supernatural. Suddenly my mind drifted back to when I was sitting next to Castiel in the car, the worry that was all over his face. Could he have been worried about me? Worried about what those demons had done to me? I shook my head. No. Then when we got back into the car after being in my apartment where he wouldn't even make eye contact after that. Dean was giving me more eye contact than Castiel had the whole time. Why wouldn't Castiel look at me though? Maybe I did need to talk to Castiel about things. Get his perspective. The reasons why he-
My phone buzzed on the bedside table bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked at the time and saw that it was two o'clock in the morning. I snatched up the phone and saw 'Abigail' on the caller ID. She was someone I worked with so I answered without thinking twice.
"Abigail? Hi, what's happened?" I asked quickly.
It was quiet a moment, until Abigail finally said 'Y/N, there's been an issue with the blood samples. I need you to come in'
Without thinking I jumped off the bed and replied, 'I'm on my way'. I got myself dressed quickly in jeans, tee-shirt, socks, runners, a jacket and rushed from the room where I ended up in the garage. I looked at the beautiful black car and shook my head. I didn't think Dean would like me driving his car, but I noticed a small little Honda and decided I would drive that. I rushed over and got in behind the wheel. It was so cliché, but I found the keys for the car behind the visor, and before I knew it I had started the car and was driving out of the garage before I could change my mind.
I tried not to think about Castiel, Sam or Dean as I drove to my work. I thought it better to think about what was possibly wrong with the blood samples at work, but as I was going through all the things, I couldn't think of one possibility of what had gone wrong. I guess I should wait until I get there and see what Abigail had to say.
Because of the early morning the roads were clear of a lot of traffic, and I made it to the building where I worked quickly. I parked in the car park and rushed to the back of the building. I swiped my card, but before I could open the door someone grabbed my right arm. As I was turning to see who was there, I heard a click and I found myself back in the room of the warehouse where Sam, Dean and Castiel had found me earlier. How did we get here so quickly? Could this be another supernatural being? I didn't know which supernatural being can teleport so quickly, but then my mind screamed at me, it said, Castiel can.
