A week passed by after the meeting with Hermione. I still don't know about the details of the marriage law. I feel like I am working in a fascist government who tries to control each and every move of its citizens. The marriage law just rips off the basic human rights of the people. I am frustrated for all the people who are going to be a victim of this stone age law.

'Back to earth Mildred' Hermione snapped her fingers, taking me out of my reverie. I sighed and tried to study the material which was provided to me about all the prisoners of Azkaban and their misdeeds.

'Today, Ron will be coming to pick me' Hermione squealed and picked up her bag from the table. She kept her wand in her side pocket and looked at me.

'That's great news! You deserve this after a long week of tiring work' I gushed and hugged her tightly.

'Hey, why don't you join us? It will be fun. I will inform Harry and Ginny too. You don't know many people here' she tried to convince me to join her but I cannot join them as they are probably going on a double date.

'It's not a double date. You have to join us, please I insist' Hermione held my hand and tried to whisk me through the main gates of the ministry of magic. I rolled my eyes at her; she is so sweet and friendly.

'I will join you all' I said and she jumped out of excitement. 'I am sure that they all will love you instantly' she said and forwarded her right arm to me so that we can apparate.

I felt woozy as soon as we reached the destination. I looked around my surrounding and realized that we are in Diagon Alley. Hermione led me to one of the cafés and I could see two guys and a girl waving at us from a far. I identified all of them in a second as soon as we reached them.

Hermione engulfed them all in a hug.

'I missed you all' she said sighing. I just stood there awkwardly gaping at them. Harry still has that scar on his forehead which is now faded a bit. I would be hearing stories of Hogwarts with the people who had firsthand experience.

'Hey, you must be Mildred, we have heard so much about you' Harry extended his arm for a handshake.

'Hi, at last I am meeting you all!' I gave them a huge smile and shook each and everyone's hand.

'Hermione's friend is our friend' Ron said while snaking his hand through Hermione's waist. Hermione blushed and leaned her head on Ron's table.

'Don't make her stand. Sit here Mildred' Ginny chirped while showing me an empty seat beside her and Hermione.

'Mione, we were talking about the marriage law' Ron said holding Hermione's hand. They are so much in love. I wish I could meet someone great like him, who loves me unconditionally.

'Yes, what about it?' Hermione's eyebrows quirked up in curiosity.

'We were actually having a good laugh while discussing about it' Ron said while everyone laughed except Hermione and me.

'What is it that you found funny about it?' Hermione asked and I could hear her frustration in her voice. I looked at all of them.

'I was just saying that if the age group is from 18 to 40 years old then even that old bat would be getting married and I feel that whoever is selected to be his partner will be unlucky' Ron said while giving a half-hearted laugh.

'Ron! You should call him by his name that is professor Snape and I think whoever is going to get married to him will be lucky' Hermione said in her strict voice. I could see that Ginny and Hermione passed a look between them.

'Yes, even I think he deserves a second chance in love' Harry chimed in while sipping from his glass.

'So, Mildred, what do you think? whom will you be getting paired with for the marriage law?' Ginny asked me abruptly.
