𝐀𝐒 Cheonsa's eyes darted towards the wall clock in the hallway, and her heart began to race with anxiety.
The slender clock hands ticked steadily towards the end of the day, and she knew that time was running out.
With only five minutes left before the final bell, Cheonsa had one last chance to accomplish her mission.
"Just in time, thank goodness,"
She breathed out, feeling the knot in her stomach loosen a little.
She peered around the lockers, scanning for any sign of life.
The hallway was eerily quiet, except for the distant hum of chatter and laughter from the classroom.
Cheonsa's fingers trembled as she pulled out the tiny card from her pocket, her mind racing with anticipation.
Her eyes flickered over to Jungwon's locker, and she made a mad dash towards it.
She slid the card into the minuscule gap in the locker, praying that it would reach him in time.
As she whirled around to flee, her eyes met a sudden sight.
Jungwon and his friends were strolling in from the opposite direction, looking carefree and lighthearted.
Cheonsa's heart sank as she realized it was too soon for him to read the message she had left for him.
Cursing inwardly, she felt like all her efforts had gone to waste.
She toyed with the idea of just leaving school before the bell, feeling dejected and disheartened.
And so, with a heavy heart, Cheonsa turned on her heels and fled from the scene, leaving behind a trail of disappointment and regret.
Jungwon and his friends huddled around their lockers, watching her fleeting figure disappear around the corner.
Their eyes lingered on her until she was out of sight, and then they turned to their own lockers with heavy hearts.
The metal doors creaked open, and they started to rifle through their belongings.
But their minds were preoccupied with the bittersweet realization that this was the last time they would all be together like this.
