Jungwon found himself trapped in a whirlwind of sentences as Cheonsa's mom narrated the epic saga of their family history – from small moments to dramatic revelations.
It was like getting a front-row seat to a documentation, with Cheonsa's mom as the enthusiastic narrator.
Cheonsa, unfortunately, was caught in a vow of silence, realizing that engaging in conversation with her mom was as effective as talking to a brick wall.
And walls don't spill embarrassing childhood stories, do they? Well now they do.
Amidst the chatter, Jungwon notices Cheonsa's dad, the silent observer in this chit-chats.
He wasn't the talkative type; instead, he observed Jungwon like a strict airport scanner, giving him glances with an intensity that made Jungwon consider declaring his innocence.
Despite the intimidating stare, Jungwon couldn't resist the urge to engage Cheonsa's dad in their conversation.
Unfortunately, every attempt to start a chat was stopped by Cheonsa's mom, who had mastered the art of verbal barricades.
❝By the way, mom, where's brother?❞
Cheonsa asks with a smile so warm, but also so deadly like she's ready for some fight.
❝He left, I don't know why, but I think he went somewhere important since he was rushing to get out of here...❞
Her mom replies, casually indulging in dessert.
He really ran away from her before she can rent a boxing ring to fight with him.
Cheonsa grits her teeth through her smile, thinking of ways to cook a penguin for breakfast.
Suddenly, Cheonsa's dad clears his throat, like he's aiming this signal straight to Jungwon, which he achieves as his attention turned to him.
The atmosphere of the room suddenly gets serious and tense... well, just for Jungwon.
