WITNESSING the exchange between Cheonsa and Jungwon was a sight to behold.

As their eyes locked, it was as though they were two opposing forces, each vying for dominance over the other's gaze.

Cheonsa's eyes were shooting daggers at Jungwon, as she tried her best not to let him see how he was affecting her.

On the other hand, Jungwon's eyes were glistening with delight, and he was smiling dearly at her, letting her stinging glare pass through him.

Cheonsa, who didn't want to be beaten by this flirting contest, decided to catch Jungwon off guard.

"Before I go, I'm giving you something, Officer,"
She said, recovering her cheeky smile.

Jungwon looked at her curiously, wondering what she had up her sleeve.

"What might that be?"
He asked.

Cheonsa grinned slyly at him, causing him to feel fully alert of what she was possibly thinking of giving.

"Since you don't want to give yours to me,"
She said, twirling a very identical-colored paper like the ticket he had given her.

"I'll give you a ticket to my heart, Jungwon,"
She declared boldly, getting back her movement by pointing a finger gun at him and shooting it, giving him a finger heart.

Jungwon couldn't help but chuckle at her antics, running his hands to his hair.

"When did you even get that paper from me?"
He said, shaking his head in amusement.

"But I think I'll have to decline this one."

Cheonsa raised an eyebrow, pretending to be offended, but she really was.
"Oh, really? And why's that?"

Jungwon's smile turned softer as he met her gaze.
" I don't need a ticket to your heart, Cheonsa..."

"..Aren't I already there?"

He couldn't help but smile as he watched Cheonsa gulp in response to being defeated in this round of their flirting match.

He knew he had the upper hand, especially since he knew how she felt about him, thanks to the letter she had given him.

Cheonsa was struggling to find her words, feeling pressured and flustered like never before.

She tried to compose herself before finally speaking up.

"Well, there's something else in there that I want to give you,"
She said, finally looking at him despite her fully reddened face.

Jungwon was about to speak when Cheonsa's phone started ringing again, causing them to stop talking.

As Cheonsa glanced at her phone, she couldn't help but let out a heavy sigh upon seeing a flood of messages from her brother, all questions about her whereabouts.

"Oh, right. I have to go now,"
She said, feeling humbled as ever, without looking at him.

Jungwon bit his bottom lip from dissatisfaction, looking at her as he yearned for a farewell from her, or at least a glance.

"No goodbyes from my future wife?"
He asked with a playful tone, moving his figure to the view where Cheonsa was looking to avoid his gaze.

Cheonsa's heart was racing as she looked into Jungwon's teasing eyes once more.

His earlier words had left her feeling breathless, and she couldn't help but notice how his plump lips curved into a smile.

As she tried to compose herself, her eyes unconsciously traveled down to his lips.

They looked so inviting, so soft and plump.

She quickly removed her gaze, feeling embarrassed for letting her mind wander.

But then, out of nowhere, she heard Jungwon's voice.

"What are you thinking of?"
He asked, grinning mischievously.
