I asked Klaus as we headed to the training ground.

It's been a month when they decided to bring my offer down and train some of their people to become a warrior. Sinasabi ko na sa kanila that these will end a bloodshed in their pack pero hindi sila nakinig. Wala na kong magagawa pa roon. If their decision is fixed, then fine. At least they reconsider the second option I had, giving some of my kingdom’s warriors and some of our weapons to use. Nagpapasalamat akong tinanggap nila iyon.

Lending my mother's warrior wasn't included in my options at all. Hindi iyon kasama sa plano ko. Although I plan to bring them when the fight break in, pero ang maging option, hindi. My plan was to prevent damage, especially to prevent more dead bodies. Pero iba ang nasa isip ni Zachary. Kahit noon pa man. Even his heart, iba ang nilalaman. He's just hard to read and reach.

“Good, so far. Though, we haven't tested their wolves yet, but they're good. I was thinking, kailan dadating ang tulong na sinasabi mo, Selene?”

He was looking at me, waiting for my answer.

Umiwas ako nang tingin at lihim na napailing. My thoughts are distracting me.

I inwardly sigh.

“Two weeks from now. Our weapons are still in process, and it will take a week and half to complete. Once it's done kaagad silang ba-byahe papunta rito.” Saad ko. I took a side glance at him.

“Can't they speed it up, Selene? Kaunting oras lang ang meron tayo. I still need to see if they really are capable of fighting.”

Did he just command me?

“I'm sorry if my men take too long than you wanted them to be here sooner, Beta Klaus.” Walang ekspresyon ko siyang hinarap. “I wasn't informed at all. But if your concern is about their capabilities, then I assure you they are more capable and strong warriors than you have in here. Now, if you still want them, be patient and wait.”

“Such a waste of time. Patience huh. Tsk!”

Napailig ako.

I don't understand him. They accepted my offer, they should know how to be patient when will I give it to them. It's a fifty-fifty chance of winning but I was hoping, that the odds may be with us on that day.

Pagdating ko sa training ground. It was full of werewolf in training to be a new warrior. The ground was in pure chaos. Hindi magkapanabay ang bawat galaw. Walang precision at timing. Masasabi mong mga baguhan nga talaga sila.

I shake my head in disappointment. This is what I'm talking about, and yet, they choose what they think is best.
