We both made it back to the chateau awhile later around 10am. Kiara had gone to work at the wreck with her parents but everyone else was there. I followed behind JJ as we entered through the front door.
"Omg Ren, I was so worried." John b ran up to me chucking his arms around me as he lifted me up and spun me around into an embrace. "I was only gone for a day JB." I pulled back from him to see lots of smiley faces. "We got to get going Bird. Are you three kids going to join us for a little fishing trip? The weather is perfect for it today." Uncle BJ gestured towards Pope,JJ and I.
"I got to go help my paps with some orders today but you guys go ahead." Pope stated as he left to go outside, he looked really tired from all the work he has been doing this summer and I kind of felt bad. "Sorry uncle BJ but I'm going to have to pass this time, I'm going to help Pope." Uncle BJ nodded as he and John b went outside over to the boat.
"Is it okay if I go and join them." JJ asked and I had to laugh at him. I looked up at him as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Of course it is blondie." He gave me a warm smile as he cupped my face and planted a kiss on my lips and I kissed back enjoying every second.
Both JJ and I had agreed to keep our new relationship a secret from everyone for the time being, mostly because we weren't sure how the others would react when they find out we broke one of our pogue rules so we are taking every moment as it comes and just enjoying being with eachothers company without any interruptions.
"I love you beautiful." My stomach tingled at him calling me that. "I love you too Maybank, I'll see you later." We both wondered outside and went our separate ways.
"Yo Pope wait up." I frantically ran down the road trying to catch up with Pope. "Ren? I thought you were going fishing with the others?" He looked at me confused. "Pope you have been working non stop this summer so I'm here to help, it will cut down the work load in half."
It felt so good to help Pope and I don't regret it but boy did Mr Heyward give me lots of orders to do. Most of mine and Pope's weren't near each other and I'm pretty sure they gave me all kooks to deliver to on purpose because I knew a lot of them plus as harsh as it sounds the kooks would probably prefer me delivering to them than a pogue delivering to them.
I was in such a good mood today and I felt like nothing could ruin it even the kooks I was delivering to were really nice to me and they weren't being snobby for once. I had been at this for hours and I just had one more big delivery to do which was a house down a back lane. The only way to get to it though was through the path way at the back of the golf course on figure eight which was part of the country club.
I caught a glimpse of Rafe and his friends playing golf in the distance but I stuck to the path and tried avoiding any eye contact, I wasn't being messed about with today.
"Yo Rafe is that Lorrena." Kelce shouted pointing at me as they all ran over." Oi slut, Your not welcome here anymore." The minute that name left his mouth my blood started to boil, my veins tingle and I gritted my teeth together. "Yet here I am Rafe." I shouted as I turned around to look at them. I was in such a good mood that day that if anyone ruined it, I was ready for war.
"You need to leave or else I'll have to make you leave and may I remind you I could easily have you locked up again, for longer this time." Rafe threatened as he came and stood infront of me and looked down at me giving me a death stare. "If you don't like me being here, make me leave right now otherwise bitch back down." I slammed my hands into Rafe's chest sending him flying. I knew this was going to make him more angry but it was entertaining for me to see the switch click in his head and he goes from being snobby Rafe Cameron to a Psychopath.
"I will fucking kill you Lorrena and that's a promise." You would think the fury in his eyes would scare me but they low-key look the same as Marcus' when he was engaged. "If its a promise then do it right now." Rafe lunged towards me with his fist out hitting me on the side of my eye. It didn't even hurt but I'm sure it would when my adrenaline died down, so I punched him right across the face 10 times harder.
