~Okami's POV~

"Open up for me, would you, Inuyasha?" Totosai asked as Inuyasha complied. From the angle Inuyasha was at he could not see what Totosai was holding since his back was facing him, but I could get a clear glimpse of it from where I sat and my eyes widened. 'That is going to hurt very badly I can tell, and I don't know whether to feel bad for him or to laugh at his suffering.' I thought with a small shiver running down my spine as I heard Inuyasha make a blood curdling scream. The idiot hit Totosai over the head for pulling out his fang so unexpectedly.

"That's no way to treat the man who forged your sword and is going to reforge it for you for free, Inuyasha!" I exclaimed as he turned to me.

"You're seriously on his side!?"

"Hell yeah I am! He is doing this without asking for any help in return, we should at least give him our respect in return!"

"He got what he deserved..." Inuyasha mumbled before telling him to bring his sword in three days time. I nodded and stood up beside the mutt.

"Yes, we probably should get going for now. It was nice seeing you again Totosai. I hope my sword doesn't give you any trouble heh..." I bowed to him as Inuyasha turned around to leave.

"Let's go, wolf pup!" The mongrel called out to me and I groaned softly in return.

"Yeah, Yeah, I hear you!" I exclaimed before standing up straight and turning on my heel to follow after him. I sighed and got on Momo with Inuyasha before heading back in the direction of where we had last left the others. By the time we settled back down with the others three days passed rather quickly and it was night as of now and it turned out to be the night of Inuyasha's period. I chuckled under my breath at the thought while Miroku explained to Sango what exactly happened to Inuyasha. Sango then turned to me with a curious look on her face.

"I haven't seen you be a full fledged human for a whole night without willing it yourself. Does that mean you don't have to be a normal human for the night like Inuyasha?" The brunette asked.

"I suppose not. I've never been forced to stay in one form before because I could always choose to be one or the other at any point in time after realizing my powers, but before I knew of my powers, I lived as a full fledged human for my whole life up until this point that is."

"I see, that's very interesting." I only nodded in response to Sango's words as Inuyasha grew irritated and my tail swished from side to side.

"Lucky you, you can decide when you have to feel stupid human emotions."

"Inuyasha, I feel all of my human emotions in both forms."

"Huh?"

"When I was a child, before discovering my powers, I only felt emotions like anger, pain, and sadness. Then Kagome came along and opened my eyes to completely new emotions like joy. Once I learned what it was like to feel the emotions of a human being I could never stop feeling them. Even when my ears and tail become a part of my body and my demon blood courses through my veins I feel basically the same just with a little bit of added strength... I still feel like I'm a full fledged human."

"Now I just feel sorry for you... Wait a second- Who told Miroku about my secret!?" Inuyasha exclaimed as Shippo poked his head up from behind a nearby rock. The mutt was on him in seconds, squishing the poor boy's head into the ground.
