At the cell tower, in the basement, Sam got the children out of the ropes and tried her best to stop Audré's arm from bleeding.
"Oh fuck it." she said, taking off Dylan's sweater and being in her regular shirt.
"Is–that Dylan's?" Audré asked.
"Yes, now just—"
He backed away from her grasp. "That's the only thing she has left of our mom. They don't talk anymore." he said weakly.
"Audré I will do anything just so you can be with your sister. Don't be like this all because of a sweater. You'll bleed out before she can even banish the Sins." she grabbed ahold of him, keeping in close while she wrapped his arm in the sweater.
Audré released a quiet groan when she tied it a bit too tight. "I may not die from bleeding out but I for sure as hell am going to die from you cutting off my arm circulation."
Sam let out a soft chuckle to his joke. "Okay, let's go." When she turned around to leave, Dylan appeared at the end of the stairs. She paused. "How do I know you aren't Rowan."
Dylan looked confused. "What?"
"Right..I forget that he's too new for that. You are Dylan, correct?"
Dylan pulled the note out which gave Sam a smile.
"I don't think the Sins would've found this." Dylan assured. She looked over at the children. "Get them to the van Audré."
"Dylan–" he began.
"You're hurt."
"I can still–"
"I'll bring you to the van dammit." Sam sighed. "You know, your power is quite useless when you can't heal yourself."
"Oh shut up. You're lucky I found you in time to heal you." he breathed.
Dylan waited until all of them were out of the basement to take a breath of relief that her brother didn't die.
Outside, Sam helped everyone back into the van and went up to Grace.
"Take the longest way back to Motel '67, I'll be back later tonight to get Audré and I can take him to a doctor to get stitched up, but you need safety for a couple of hours." Sam explained.
Grace nodded and when Sam stepped away from the van, she drove off and Sam made eye contact with Audré as they left.
She went back into the cell tower and met Dylan downstairs. "Okay, let me see the note–" she was cut off by a hug from Dylan.
"Thank you for helping him." she said muffled into Sam's shirt.
Sam hesitated. "Y-yeah. You're welcome."
Their hug was cut off from a door slamming open.
"Samuel!" Tella's voice shouted from upstairs.
Dylan and Sam backed away from the stairs.
"Good time to give me the note." Sam whispered. Dylan handed it to her in a split second. When the Sins came downstairs, she was surprised by Rowan's appearance as she did not get a good look while being a cat. "How are you not human?! It's been a day you should be back to normal."
Rowan grinned. "How funny that you think that was my real amulet. I always hide it somewhere other than around my neck where you can grab it."
"We aren't that stupid." Sol added in.
"Now give us the note, Samuel," said Tella.
Sam's grip tightened on the note. "Or I could not."
"Don't do this." Rowan took a step forward. "You wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."
