Dylan walked around the neighbourhood rather than just retracing her steps.

"Keep thinking of the note and it'll come to you." she muttered. "Yeah right." she sighed. "There's no way this stupid note is coming to me." She looked up at the sky and watched as a flock of crows roamed over her head.

When they all flew away, their feathers landed in a scribbled path along the sidewalk. Dylan stopped and rubbed her eyes, thinking it was just a coincidence. But when she opened her eyes, the feathers laid in their path.

Releasing a shaky breath, she followed the path of feathers.

After minutes, the path ended and she was stuck in the middle of a park.

She groaned. "Great." She looked up at the sky to see the golden light slowly losing its blaze. "Shit." she muttered.

Thinking of the note again, she felt something brush her hand. She opened her eyes only to see nothing. The wind.

The wind was blowing in a different direction. Following the direction of the wind, she constantly felt the fear of something or someone watching her. But everytime she looked around, no one was in sight.

Getting out of the park, the wind stopped abruptly. She sighed, thinking her mind was playing a trick on her. When she turned around to leave, she saw the last bit of golden light shine on a bush in the distance. A smile formed on her face as she followed it.

Running towards the bush, she dug through to find the note on the ground. Covered in dirt.

She picked it up and unfolded it, reading what lied on the paper. The ink looked rushed, but the language seemed to flow with Dylan.

"Dylan." a voice spoke in her mind. Sam.

"Sam. Sam I found the note. We can—"

"Dylan, it's your brother."

Everything went silent for Dylan. Everything slowed and her breathing shook.

"He was kidnapped by the Sins again. I know where he is and I can get him and the rest of the artifacts. But you have to stay away for a while. Find the note." Sam said before her voice disappeared.

"But I have it." was what Dylan said in her mind. Only to never be responded to. The voice of Dylan roamed in her head. It's your brother.

She felt her eyes water, but she wiped everything away and ran in the direction of her brother's home. Hoping she'd find more clues there.
