Sam's POV

We all got in my car, Kensi squished in the back, considering Deeks had already left and he was Kensi's ride. The amount of silence was deafening. We drove back to ops and went to tell Hetty the bad news, but she is Hetty, of course she already knew!

"Hey guys, how's Deeks?" Nell asked walking down the the stairs into the bullpen, where Callen, Kensi and I were finishing off some overdue paperwork. "He'll be okay." I replied, trying to make Kensi feel better. Unsuccessfully, might I add. "Ohh, how'd you guys go with the interrogation? Get anything out of Brandel?" Nell asked. This really wasn't the time, not until we spoke to Deeks first. I looked at Callen and he gave me a look that told me to play along. I sighed. I hate lying."Uhm, nope. Not a thing." Callen stated. Nell didn't look convinced, but she let it go.

"Kens, Deeks will be fine." I stated, looking at Kensi. "How can you say that Sam!? We don't even know where he is! His father almost tried to kill him and his mother is dead! Does that make things seem like they are going to be okay?" She yelled. I hate seeing her like this. "Kens, calm down, it's okay." Nell helped, walking over to Kensi and giving her a hug. "We will get through this. Deeks will be fine. Remember what you promised him?" Wait, what did she promise him? If he hurts her, he is dead!

"Miss Blye, a word?" Kensi nodded and went over to Hetty's office. I couldn't quite make out what they were saying, but Kensi seemed pretty sad. I turned to Callen and Nell and they both just shook their heads. Kensi walked back over to the bullpen, grabbed her jacket and left, without saying a word. What the hell just happened? I went to go ask Hetty and evidently Callen and Nell thought the same thing.

We all walked into Hetty's office and heard her mumbled under her breath. "Hetty, what was all that about? What did you say to Kensi?" I asked, concerned. "Mr Hanna, I can see you are worried for your friends, but I suggest you all get back up to ops. Eric will brief you. Now go!" She urged as me, Callen and Nell ran up to ops.

"Eric, what's going on?" Nell asked, looking at Eric and taking a seat next to him. "Okay, well. As we all know, Linda Brandel or Linda Deeks, whatever you want to call he-" Eric started. "Get to the point, Eric." Callen commanded.

"Right. As I was saying, Linda died in hospital today, however the guys that were working for Brandel, somehow got word that Deeks was in Los Angeles, alive and well. They kidnapped Deeks. Now, we have a possible location, about ten minutes from here. They are on a ship and it's set to depart from the marina in an hour." Eric explained. "Where is the ship now, Eric?" I asked. "Venice." Sam and I got our gear and left to go and find Deeks. Kensi was probably already there.

We walked into the marina and there was a big ship, that had the European flag on it. We all clicked the safety on our guns off and got ready for things to get messy.

As we boarded the ship, Callen took out one of the guards and I took out the other. We quietly walked onto the ship, taking out any guards that we came across, as quietly as possible. We walked through a door, that I was assuming was where they were holding Deeks, considering that was the only room that we hadn't cleared yet. When we walked in Deeks was sitting on a metal chair, he had deep cuts all over his legs, his shirt was covered in blood and had rips all over it. His face was bruised, and blood was running down from his head, where he had been hit with the barrel of a gun. His bottom lip was cut and swollen and he had a black eye. Deeks is a pain in the ass, but he doesn't deserve this. Nobody does, really.

Just as I went to go up to Deeks, a man came out of behind the door. "Well, well, well. What do we have here? Brandel warned me you guys might just come and interfere." Strong European accent, although it didn't seem familiar.

"Guys, get out of here." Deeks answered, clearly worried for us. "Deeks, it's going to be okay." Callen informed, aiming his gun to shoot the guy. "NO! DON'T SHOOT!" He yelled. "What? Why?" I asked, confused. "Do you guys not notice the gasoline? It's everywhere. You shoot, we all die." Ohh shit. I turned to Callen and he grinned back at me. We were going old fashion.
