Nell's POV

The team looked at Eric and I, smiling at us, probably happy that we were finally together. Deeks was trying to make Kensi feel better. Although he had a weird way of doing so. He was saying all this stupid stuff, getting Kensi annoyed. And when Kensi gets annoyed, there was only one way to make her feel better. Punching the crap out of someone or something. I felt sorry for Deeks. He was crying in pain, but didn't stop Kensi from punching him, because he knew it would make her feel better.

"Guys, it's getting quite late. What do you want to do?" Hetty asked. We all looked at each other. "I know! Alright, grab your stuff lets go!" Deeks yelled. Everyone looked at him in confusion, but did as they were told. "Okay, Deeks? Where exactly are we going?" Callen asked. "Ahh, my friends! You shall soon see. Sam? I'll drive in front and you follow behind. Okay?" Deeks asked. Sam nodded. "Sure. If you promise not to get us all killed." Everyone laughed. "Come on, Deeks. Just tell us where we're going!" I begged. "Ahh my dear Nell, you will find out soon. Don't worry! Oh and no 'funny buisness' in the back of my car okay? Or you'll be spending your lovely weekend with a bottle of disinfectant and sponges." Deeks stated. I looked at him and nodded, uneasily. Did he have to say that and embarrass us in front of the whole team?

Everyone laughed at Deeks' comment, as we walked to our cars. We all got into the cars, I sat in the back seat with Kensi in the middle and Eric on the other side of Kensi, considering Deeks didn't want Eric and I sitting next to each other. Hetty was in the front passenger seat next to Deeks, who was driving,  because Kam wanted to sit with Callen in Sam's car.

The drive wasn't that long, although we had no idea where Deeks was taking us. Deeks pulled over and parked the car. It was almost dark and I still didn't have any knowledge on where we were. "Okay! We're here!" Deeks stated, taking off his seat belt and getting out the car.

Sam pulled over next to Deeks and everyone got out of the car. "Deeks? What the hell are we doing at the top of a mountain?" Sam asked. "You'll see. Kens? Can you get the blankets out of the boot of my car?" Deeks asked Kensi. Kensi nodded, confused, but went around to the boot of Deeks' car and got the blankets out. Deeks started walking towards the edge of the mountain. "Sam? You know how to make a fire, don't you?" Deeks asked. Sam nodded. "I was a navy SEAL, of course I know how to make a fire."

"Well... What are you doing? Get building!" Deeks ordered. "What? Why?" Sam asked, turning to Deeks, who just stared at him. "Alright, alright. Aiden? You mind giving me a hand?" Sam asked, looking to Aiden.

Everyone watched Sam and Aiden make a fire and soon enough it was dark and the only thing that was allowing us to see, was the fire. We all sat around the fire on logs that Callen and Deeks had found. I was sitting on Eric's lap with my head leaning on his chest. He had his arms wrapped around my stomach and we had a blanket over us, so we could keep warm. Michelle, Sam, Aiden and Kam were all wrapped up in one blanket with Kam sitting in the middle of Sam and Michelle. Callen was sitting on a log, near the fire, Kensi and Deeks were sitting next to each other with a blanket wrapped around them, until Deeks jumped up suddenly, scaring Kensi.

"I almost forgot!" He yelled, running over to his car and coming back with a bag of marshmellows. "Uhm...Deeks? Are those Rocky Mountain Marshmellows you're holding?" Kensi asked. Deeks nodded. "They sure are! You guys see any sticks around?" We all looked around and Callen got up, walking over to a tree. He pulled off a branch and broke the small bits into sticks, handing one to everyone. We all moved in closer to the fire, put our marshmellows on our sticks and held them carefully over the fire. This has got to be one of the best days of my life.

I jumped when I heard bangs, I thought it was gunshots, but I turned around and saw fireworks lighting up the sky and the Disneyland castle illuminated in bright florescent colours. It was so beautiful.

I turned around to Eric who was looking up at the fireworks. "Eric? Can I tell you something?" I asked. He nodded. "Of course, Rockstar! What's up?" He replied, still looking at the fireworks. "Okay. I don't want to pressure you. You don't have to say it back if you think it's too soon, but...I love you." I informed. I think Eric was shocked, because he dropped the stick and marshmellow into the fire and looked into my eyes. "Aww, Nell. I love you too." He replied. Oh my god! He said it back! He loves me! This day just got one thousand times better. He leant down to me and kissed me, softly but intensly.

I wish I could just stay here forever, in the loving arms of Eric, but of course someone had to ruin the moment. "Okay, eww! I'm happy that you two are 'dating' now, but it doesn't mean I want to see that!" Sam stated, looking over at Eric and I and instantly looking away from us. "Hang on! Did you guys just say that you love each other?" Deeks asked. I looked at Eric and we both nodded. Deeks smiled. I leant back on Eric's chest and he stroked my hair and kissed my head softly. "Okay, I love you and all Nell...But you made me drop my marshmellow stick!" Eric stated, looking down on the floor to see his marshmellow and stick laying in the fire, burning. Everyone laughed as Eric slumped back in his chair in disapointment. "Aww, baby. I'm sorry. Here. Deeks, can I please have the bag of marshmellows?" I asked. Deeks nodded and handed me the bag of marshmellows.

I put a marshmellow on the end of my stick and held it over the fire, letting the fire cook it. When it was cooked, I pulled my stick back and lifted the tip up, pulling off the marshmellow. "Here." I stated, putting the marshmellow in Eric's mouth. "Thanks, Rockstar." Eric stated. "Aww, young geek love!" Sam added. Everyone laughed again and Eric pulled me into a hug.

Everyone turned around, finally leaving me and Eric alone. We all watched as the fireworks blazed through the sky. I felt sorry for Callen. He was sitting all alone. He looked kind of sad. I kissed Eric on his cheek and whispered 'I'll be back' in his ear. He nodded and I got up. I don't really talk to Callen that much, but Sam was having fun with Michelle and his kids, so I went up and stood next to him. "You alright, Cal?" I asked. Callen turned to me and nodded. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" He replied. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't know, you just looked a little...sad." I informed. "I'm okay. Just thinking." I nodded.

"Cal? I know I'm not Sam and we don't really talk to each other that much, but if you ever want to talk, or not talk at all, I'm here." I added. Callen smiled. "I really appreciate that and hey, maybe some day I will take you up on that. But right now, I think you should be with your......boyfriend?" Callen questioned. I nodded. "Come sit with us. Please?" I asked. Callen looked between Erid and I, unsure. "Ohh come on, Cal. I promise we won't make you feel like a third wheel. I just don't want you to be alone. Come on. Please?" I asked again.

Callen nodded and walked with me over to Eric. I sat on Eric's lap and Callen sat next to Eric. "Hey mate." Eric greeted. "Hey. I haven't had time to congratulate you yet. I'm happy for you." Callen replied, looking over to Eric. "Thanks Callen. Hey, how's Joelle?" Eric asked. "You should of invited her, I'm sure she would have happily came."

Callen looked at Eric. "Yeah, somehow I get the feeling she would rather spend Christmas without me." I shook my head and laughed. "Why is that funny?" Callen asked and when Eric realised why I was laughing, he joined in too. Callen was so confused. I just wonder how long It's going to take for him to realise.
