Chapter 24- Things Will Get Worse, Before They Get Better

Callen's POV

When Nell and Eric came back with the pizza's, they sat down next to each other and opened up the boxes. "Thanks guys!" Deeks yelled. "Thank you, Ewick!" Kam yelled. Eric nodded. "No problems little one!"

I helped Hetty sit up and gave her a bottle of water. She wasn't hungry, considering she still felt like she was going to throw up. It really wasn't a good idea, her going on that ride.

I was getting confused, Sam and Michelle kept looking at Eric and Nell, giggling. I was curious and apparently, so was Deeks. "Will you guys stop giggling already?" Deeks asked. Everyone looked at Sam and Michelle. "Sorry." Sam replied, holding his hands up in defence. "I know right? What's so funny?" Kensi added. Eric looked nervous and gave Sam a look. "Um, nothing." Sam stated. "So, why have you been giggling like a couple of teenagers for the past twenty minutes?" I asked.

"Ohh,It's nothing... We saw this cute couple kissing near the Indiana Jones ride, when we were on Mickey's Fun Wheel." Michelle responded. "Yeah. The guy is one of my mates. Him and the girl he likes finally admitted their feelings for each other. All very cute." Sam added.

A mate of Sam's? I looked over to Eric and he was blushing. Wait! Was Eric the 'mate' of Sam's?

I was curious now,so I leant over to Sam and whispered in his ear, so nobody else could here. "You don't happen to be talking about Eric do you?" Sam nodded and I laughed. Eric and Nell were finally a couple. But they didn't want anyone knowing?

"What? What's so funny?" Deeks asked. I stopped laughing instantly. "Nothing." I stated. Kensi looked like she had figured it out. "Oh my god! Nell?" Kensi looked over to Nell and Nell looked nervous. "Kensi! Shut the hell up or I'll throw you into that lake over there!" Nell yelled,pointing towards the nearby lake.

She probably shouldn't have said that, because it looked like Deeks may have figured it out as well. "Oh my god! You two kissed? You finally told Nell you like her? I never thought Nell would feel the same way about you!" Deeks commented. Actually,let me be a little bit more accurate. Deeks yelled!

Well I think It's safe to say the whole of China now knows about Nell and Eric. Nell looked nervous and worried. "Thanks for that, Deeks. Get us fired why don't you? And you were wrong. How could I not like Eric? He is the most amazing and caring guy I know." She stated, She standing up and walking over to the edge of the lake and sitting down. "Great going, Deeks!" Eric yelled,getting up from his chair and running over towards Nell. He sat down next to her, hugged her and whispered something in her ear. It was so cute. But I felt sorry for Nell,she obviously didn't want it to be such a big deal. They have only been dating for not even an hour and it's probably too soon for her relationship with Eric to be spread across the world.

I looked over to Deeks and was about to have a go at him,but Kensi bet me to it,by punching him in his arm. Deeks cried in pain. "Why the hell did you do that for? Can't you just stop bring do damn immature and acting like a five year old?" Kensi yelled. "I'm sorry! Gee! I didn't mean to upset her!" Deeks argued. "Don't say sorry to us! Go say it to Nell!" I urged,nodding in the direction of Eric and Nell. Nell had her head in Eric's chest and he was stroking her hair. Probably just trying to calm her down a little bit. Things were probably just moving too fast for her and that's totally understandable.

Deeks got up and went to walk over to them,but Eric stood up and pulled Nell up with him. He turned around and Nell jumped on his back. She was smiling and they were laughing together. Such a cute couple.

They walked back over to us and Deeks spoke up. "I'm so sorry,guys. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just excited that you guys are together now. I'm happy for you." Nell looked at Eric. "No. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have went off at you like that.. It's just a little bit much for me to handle. I guess I'm still trying to get used to the idea." Nell stated.

"Hey,what do you guys say we go on some more rides before it gets too dark?" Sam suggested. Everyone nodded. "What ride do you want to go on next,Kam?" Michelle asked. "I want to go on the Peterpan ride! You,me,daddy and Ay!" Kam squelled. Sam nodded. "We'll catch up with you guys later." Sam replied. I nodded. "What do you wanna do now, Rockstar?" Eric asked Nell. They both looked at each other. "Innoventions!" They yelled, simultaneously.

"Awww. Already in sync! How adorable!" Kensi squeaked. Nell and Eric ran off to innoventions and I was left with Hetty, Kensi and Deeks. "You guys go, I'll stay with Hetty, It doesn't look like she will be moving any time soon." I mentioned. Deeks went to walk off, but was stopped by Kensi. "No, you know what? You two go. I'll sit with Hetty. I'm hanging out to get a snow cone anyway." Kensi explained. Great! She was going to make me go with Deeks?

"Ohh. Come on Cal! I wanna go on the Matterhorn Bobsleds! You in?" Deeks asked, jumping up and down in excitment. Maybe Kensi was right. Maybe Deeks was a five year old and maybe he was just trapped inside a grown mans body?

I glared at Kensi and walked away with Deeks. Why was she doing this to me?

Deeks and I got to the Matterhorn Bobsleds after a long walk. He tried to make conversation, but wasn't very successful. He was successful in one thing though. That being, annoying the crap out of me.

"So, You still with Joelle?" He asked. I nodded. "Yep." He nodded back. "Cool, Cool." I laughed. "You got a girlfriend yet?" I asked. "Ahh, man. I don't have time for girls!" Deeks mocked, remembering that I said the exact same thing to him a few weeks ago.

"Right. Right. Have you spoken to Gina since she's been in jail?" I asked him. "Ahh, Cal! You always know how to bring a guys mood down!" He replied, annoyed. "My bad!" I added. "Nahh man, it's all good. I haven't spoken to her and I'm not planning on doing so, anytime soon. After what she did to me, I'd rather forget about that part of my life and move on." He explained. I nodded. "Deeks, I get it. We all have things we'd rather forget."
