Hetty's POV

I sat down next to Jethro on a table overlooking the beach, where our teams were having fun playing around. Kensi and Deeks were surfing, more or less, Kensi was surfing and Deeks was falling in the water every thirty seconds. It looked like they were having fun, though. Ziva and Abby were throwing a ball around in the water, trying to keep it away from Tim and Tony. Eric and Nell were building a sand castle and Joelle was collecting shells, while Callen was writing in the sand with a stick.

I looked over to Callen when he stood up and threw the stick on the ground. "Done." He sighed, clearly exhausted. Joelle walked over to Callen and smiled, hugging him. "I love you too, Callen." She stated, looking at the heart that Callen had drawn in the sand. Inside of it, he had written Callen loves Joelle. I found that very sweet.

I then looked over to Sam who was sitting next to myself and Jethro. He was playing with the broken piece of timber from the table. He looked sad. "Sam, why didn't you bring Michelle and your kids?" Jethro asked, turning towards Sam, noticing his sad mood. Sam just shook his head. "I would, but Michelle is on a classified case with the CIA and the kids are staying with Michelle's parents in San Diego for a few weeks." Sam informed, putting the broken piece of timber back on the table and picking up his can of soda. I looked at him at took his soda off of him, placing it back on the table. "Go and have fun with your friends. You all deserve a break after the last few days." I urged, pointing towards our two teams. He shook his head again. "Nahh, It's okay. They're all doing their own thing. I'm fine." Sam sighed, picking his soda back up and taking a sip.

Callen came running up to us, leaving Joelle standing on the sand, admiring his art work. "Sam, come on. Wanna come play some beach soccer with us?" Callen asked, looking at Sam. Sam nodded, finally. "Okay."

I looked over to the teams, setting up a game of soccer. "Eric! Nell! Get over here! It's L.A team verses D.C team." Callen yelled, making Nell and Eric get up and walk over to them, leaving their now finished sand castle. "Fine. But go easy on Nell, she's still in a little bit of pain." Eric yelled back. I smiled at how much he cares about her. They are truely adorable.

Callen and Sam nodded, while Abby, Ziva, Tony and Tim all ran up, racing them on the other side. Kensi and Deeks were still out surfing and I don't think they would be coming back in for a while yet.

I turned to Jethro and noticed him watching the teams as well. "When are you going to tell them?" I asked. He shook his head. "I don't know, Hetty. I honestly don't." He replied, thruthfully. I sighed, "They are going to find out soon enough. I think it would be best if it came from you, Jethro." He nodded. "I know. I just don't know how they are going to take it. This changes everything, Hetty. It's not like I can just go up to them and tell them that our operation was compromised and now the freaking notorious serial killer is after them. We don't have any possible leads, what so ever. They might not have jobs, if we don't catch this guy." Jethro explained. I nodded in understanding.

"I know Jethro, but don't you think they deserve to know that they are in danger? If they don't watch themselves and be careful, they will be dead before the week starts. The minute that it was annouced that you and your team survived the fire in your operation center, was the minute that Orlando Alvari started looking for you again. And I can assure you, this is not just the ordinary notorious serial killer, Jethro! This is serious! You and your team need to watch you backs and if you don't tell them what is going on, you are putting my team at risk as well!" I exclaimed. The thought of my team being put at risk again, making my heart ache.

He didn't say anything after that, he just picked up his coffee, took a sip and rested it back down on the table. I sighed, looking back at the two teams that were playing soccer. I saw Kensi and Deeks out further. They were standing on their boards, balancing on the flat water, considering the waves had dropped. Deeks fell off, landing hard into the water, causing Kensi to start laughing, before diving off the board, into the water as well.

I turned back to see Nell laying on the floor, holding her stomach. Eric had ran to her side and was sitting next to her. The team stopped playing soccer and crowded around her, making sure she was okay. I got up and walked over to them, Jethro falling into step beside me. "Nell? Are you okay?" I asked, pushing past everyone to get to Nell. She nodded. "I'm fine. I just think my stitches came out." Nell explained. I nodded, turning to Sam. "I got it. Callen, can you please get the first aid kit out of my car?" Sam asked, kneeling down next to Nell, helping Eric pick her up and lay her on the bench in the shade.

Callen came running back over with the first aid kit and Sam got out what he needed and stitched her back up, carefully. There was no need to go back to the hospital, considering Sam was trained for such situations. I found it cute how, the whole time Sam was fixing up Nell, Eric was by Nell's side, holding her hand, showing his love and support.

When the situation was completely under control, Ziva, Abby and Joelle all sat with Nell under a tree and talked about..Well actually,  I don't know. Whatever it is that young woman talk about these days. Tim, Tony, Sam and Callen went back to their game of soccer. I looked around and noticed Eric was gone. I looked around everywhere, trying to find him, but I had no idea where he went.

I turned to Jethro and looked at him. "Did you see where Eric went?" I asked. He shook his head in reply.

What now? Don't I ever get a break?
