Chapter 28- Speak The Truth Even If Your Voice Shakes

Sam's POV

I was joking around with Michelle, Kam and Aiden, when I was stopped. Eric and Nell were laughing at Callen, who was confused and annoyed because he didn't know what was going on. Neither did I, until I turned around to see someone standing behind Callen. I laughed too and nudged Michelle. Callen turned around and jumped, obviously not expecting to see someone standing behind him.

"Joelle? What are you doing here?" Callen asked, looking at Joelle. "You have some pretty awesome friends. Hetty called. She told me to meet you guys here. She did ask me to come and surprise you when you were still in Disneyland, but I was spending Christmas with my family." Joelle explained. Callen turned around to Hetty. "You did this?" He asked. Hetty nodded and Callen turned back around to face Joelle. "I'm so glad you're here!" He yelled, picking Joelle up and spinning her around. Okay, that was different. In all the years I have known Callen, I have never known him to be so...romantic. And to think me and Michelle are the reason that these two are together, makes me even happier.

Callen put Joelle down, still keeping one of his arms around her waist. "You guys remember Joelle, right?" He asked. The team nodded and greeted Joelle and soon everyone was sitting back down.

This time Callen wasn't sitting alone. Instead, Joelle was sitting between his legs and had her head rested on his chest. For once, everyone seems to be happy. I just wish Kensi and Deeks weren't so clueless and finally took some tips from Nell and Eric and came clean about their feelings.

The fireworks had stopped now, but the land was still lit up by the florescent lights from the Disney castle. It was all quiet, until Nell got up and ran. I was confused and looked to Eric. He looked just as confused as I was. Everyone exchanged looks of bewilderment. Eric quickly got up and ran after her, until she stopped at a bush and started to throw up. Eric sat beside her and rubbed her back, before Nell stood back up and wiped her mouth with her jacket.

"Nell? Are you okay?" I asked, as they walked back up to the team. She nodded. "She just ate too many marshmallows. If she has too much gelatin she feels sick and throws up." Eric explained. "Wow, it's so cute how you know so much about her." Joelle stated, reading my thoughts. "Yeah. I'm fine. I just need some water." Nell responded. Eric picked up Nell's bag, got out her water bottle and handed it to her. "Here you go, Rockstar."

"Eric? I'm cold." Nell stated, moving closer to Eric. Eric held her hand and led her around to the front of him, pulling her down onto his lap. He took his jacket off and put it around Nell and hugged her tightly. They are literally the cutest couple I have ever seen. "You guys are too cute!" Michelle stated, looking over to Eric and Nell. I looked over to her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. She looked up at me and smiled. "I love you, Sam." She informed, snuggling into my chest.

Kam was fast asleep on my lap and Aiden was sitting next to Hetty, telling her about his mission in Virginia. Since she has a high clearance level and is allowed to be informed on the details.  "I love you too, Michelle." I replied.

I looked over to Kensi and Deeks, expecting them to be cuddled up too, but they were arguing. Deeks was rambling on about something and Kensi seemed rather annoyed. "Hey guys? What do you want to do? We could camp out tonight, drive back home or stay at a hotel." I asked the team. "Well, I don't plan on moving any time soon. Well, I could if a certian 'Intelligence Analyst' hadn't fallen asleep on my lap." Eric replied. Everyone laughed, after lookiing over to see Nell cuddled up to Eric with her head on his chest, sleeping. "That settles it then! I guess we're camping out! Although, we don't having any camping equipment or tents!" Deeks stated. "We don't need tents. We have blankets and a fire." Kensi stated. "Okay." Deeks added.

"I'm not tired yet, though." Callen stated. "G, You're never tired!" I replied, making everyone laugh. "Okay. So let's play a game." Hetty added. "Oh! I like games!" Deeks yelled, in excitement, waking Nell up in the process. Nell jumped and rolled off of Eric's lap, landing straight onto the cold rocky floor. Instead of helping her back up, Eric bent down beside Nell and sat next to her. "I always thought sitting on the floor was too hardcore, but oh well." Eric joked. He held out his arms and Nell snuggled into them. When Nell was comfortable, he pulled the blanket over them. "So, what game?" I asked.

Everyone looked around, thinking of a game to play. "Hmm. Truth or dare?" Deeks suggested, excited. Everyone nodded. "Okay, but you go first." Kensi replied. Deeks nodded. "Okay. Someone give me a dare." Deeks stated.

"Ohh! I have one! I dare you to....kiss Kensi!" Nell suggested. Deeks turned to Kensi and kissed her on her cheek. Nell giggled. "Okay. Nell? Truth or dare?" Deeks asked. Nell thought about it for a while, before saying truth. "Okay. How long you liked Eric?" Deeks asked. Nell's face went red. "One minute." Nell stated. Everyone looked at her confused. "What?" Eric asked. "Eric,I've only liked you for one minute, because every other minute that I've known you, I have loved you." Nell added. Everyone smiled at the cute couple in front of us. "I thought you were going to brake up with him or something!" Deeks yelled. Nell looked at Eric and kissed his cheek. "Never."

"Okay....Kensi? Truth or dare?" Eric asked. Kensi looked up. "Truth." Eric looked around. "Have you ever won a Twinkie eating contest?" Kensi looked nervous, but nodded her head. "I was fifteen, don't hold it against me!" Eric looked at her. "Records don't lie Kensi. Wanna re-think how old you were? I mean, this was only what? One year ago?" Eric asked. Everyone laughed as Kensi's face went red. "Have you been stalking me, Eric?" Kensi asked, looking at Eric with a frown on her face. "What? No! I wouldn't do that." Eric replied, looking back at Kensi. "Well then, how did you know that? I've only told one person a-" Kensi stated, trailing off. "Nell! How could you? I thought you said you weren't going to tell anyone!" Kensi replied, looking at Nell, who was pretending like she didn't know what was going on.
