Kensi's POV
"Good morning, Detective Deeks." I greeted, kissing up Deeks' arm, until my face came inches away from his. He smiled, his eyes still closed. "Good morning, Special Agent Blye." I smiled back at him, before moving in to kiss his cheek softly. He still kept his eyes closed, but I wanted to see his beautiful ocean blue eyes, so I leant in and brushed my lips softly against his, which led to him kissing me back intensely. When we pulled away his eyes opened and he smiled at me, stroking my hair softly. I rested my head on his chest, wrapping my arm around his stomach.
I heard a noise coming from outside. It sounded like someone knocking on the door. I sat up and looked at Deeks. He frowned. "Let them knock. I can't be bothered getting up. They'll go away." He stated. I smiled and curled up next to Deeks again. The knocking became louder. "Don't worry, Shaggy. I got it. I'll be back in a minute." I told him, getting out of bed, wrapping myself in a small blanket and walking to the door. I looked through the peep hole and saw Sam and Callen standing there.
They couldn't know I was here, so I quickly turned around and ran back to the room, as quietly as I could. "Deeks! It's Sam and Callen. They can't know I'm here. You have to answer it." I informed, nervously. Deeks' eyes shot open again and he got out of bed, not bothering to put on a shirt. I smiled and followed him out. I went into the spare room, that was just inside the door, quietly pressing my ear against the door, so I could hear what they were saying, and then looking through the gap between the door and the wall, so I could see what was going on.
Deeks opened the door, wiping his eyes to get a clearer view. "What are you doing here? It's not even seven yet and I'm kind of busy. What's up?" He asked. "Eric quit NCIS and we need you to come to his house with us and help convince him to come back." Callen stated, getting straight to the point. "Okay, what are you talking about? Eric quit NCIS?" Deeks asked. Sam sighed. "Eric quit NCIS. How freaking hard is this that to understand?" Sam stated, obviously pissed off. "Okay, as much as I want Eric at NCIS, like I said before, I'm kind of busy right now." Deeks replied, making Sam even more frustrated. "Deeks, I know you want your precious beauty sleep, but doesn't this mean anything to you? You are one of Eric closest friends, don't you want to help him out?" Callen spoke.
"It's not that I don't want to help out, it's just..." Deeks started. "It's just what, Deeks?" Callen urged. "I'm not exactly....alone..." He sighed, nervously. Callen smirked, getting the picture. Sam showed a look of disgust. "Ohh! We interrupted something here, didn't we? Who's the unlucky girl? Let me guess, stripper? No, pole dancer?" Sam joked. Deeks rolled his eyes, and began to shut the door in their faces, before Sam stopped him. "Deeks, I was just kidding."
I smiled and put on a really slutty sounding voice, so Sam and Callen wouldn't know it was me. "Marty, who's at the door?" Callen and Sam exchanged a smirk. "Just some people I work with, go back to bed, baby. I'll be in there in a minute." Deeks replied, turning around so that he could look at me. We exchanged smiles, before he turned back to the door. "Right, well...We'll see you at work, can you just stop in at Eric's before work, you know try to talk to him. Oh and remember, we start at nine, so you better make sure that you're not late, otherwise Hetty will have your head on a stake." Callen informed, walking back to his car with Sam following behind. Deeks closed the door and I walked out, before both of us started laughing.
I walked up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist, hugging him tightly. "You don't think they knew it was me, do you?" I asked. He shook his head. "Nope. And by the way, nice idea with the voice. You surly made Sam and Callen curious." I smiled, looking up at him. "So, Eric quit NCIS?" I confirmed. "Yeah, that's what Callen and Sam are saying anyway. I might head over there soon. Granger has made this whole case such a nightmare. Would you like to come? Or do you want me to drop you off at your house and pick you up when I'm done at Eric's?" I smiled. "You helped me with Nell yesterday, so I'm going to help you with Eric today. And I don't want Eric to quit. He is so good at his job. Hetty would never be able to find anyone as good as him." I stated, looking up to meet his beautiful blue eyes. He leant down and kissed me quickly, before pulling away and heading towards his bedroom.
He walked back out a few minutes later, wearing dark blue denim jeans and a plain white t-shirt, with a light grey jacket over the top. "Okay, did you want to stop at your house so you can get changed or whatever? We can get some breakfast on the way, if you want." Deeks suggested. I nodded, "Yeah, that would be great. Shall we get going then?" I asked, heading towards the door, Deeks following behind after grabbing his keys, wallet and phone.
Deeks drove me to my house and waited in the car while I got changed and did my hair. I ran back out to the car, with Deeks smiling as I got in. "Missed you, princess." He stated. I frowned. "I was only gone for like two minutes." He laughed. "Still. I missed you." I smiled, while putting on my seatbelt as Deeks drove us to Eric's house. I had never been there before, but when he pulled up, I wasn't surprised. His house was medium-sized and it was right on the beach. He had a surf board leant up against the rails of his patio, that overlooked the ocean. I looked in his driveway and his car wasn't there.
We got out of Deeks' car and walked up to the brown wooden door and I knocked three times. There was no answer. "Deeks, I don't think he's home." I stated. Deeks nodded. "It's doesn't look like it, hey? Where the hell would he be at seven in the morning?" I shrugged my shoulders. "He might of stayed at a friends house or something? Gone away for a few days, maybe? Come on, we should get to work. We can come back tonight. Hopefully by then, Eric will be home."
