There was a noticeable difference in the convict when she exited Stillwater. On the Boat ride back 516's shoulders lost their tension and fear, and her face was more relaxed. Caitlyn smiled faintly as she studied the convict.
"So I arranged a apartment for you, it'll be right next to mine so if you ever need help." Catching the convicts harden glare Caitlyn raised her hands. "Not that you might need it, im just saying okay? Im going to help you with a job and whatever else you need."
"Like a glorified babysitter. Listen enforcer, I can take care of myself, I don't need you nor your fancy Council." Caitlyn sighed softly and shook her head. "No this was all my idea, I saw your folder, and there was no reason for you to be in there, this is my way to fix that."
"Oh so now I'm a charity case? Nice going 'sheriff'." Caitlyn glared back at the convict, "okay 516." Seeing the convict flinch at her tone she softened her voice. "You are not a charity case okay? My job as sheriff is to stop any more corruption. And that starts with helping all those thrown in Stillwater for no reason."
"Fine cupcake... but don't get pissed at me if this goes wrong." As they reached the main land Caitlyn gently led 516 further into Piltover, for once glad no one was out as she brought the convict to the Apartment complex. In the lobby they gotten a few looks, which Caitlyn managed to stop with a few well placed glares.
The only trouble she had was convincing the convict that the elevator won't hurt her, though as soon as they reached their floor the convict threw herself out of the elevator breathing quickening. Caitlyn gently approached gently invading the convict in a comforting hug, feeling her bury her face in her shirt as she slowed down.
When the Convict finally got ahold of her breathing Caitlyn stepped back and offered a hand, then lead her to her apartment. Opening the door she lets 516 walk in first, taking in the apartment smiling at the awe in the convicts eyes as she studied every room.
"Is this seriously where I'm living?" "Yep, it's under my lease for now, however once you get a job you can pay for it yourself" the convict turned to the enforcer the smallest of smiles on her face as she brought the enforcer into a hug.
"Thank you Caitlyn..."
