Omniscient

"I'll go." All eyes went to Claire as she turned to Tron. "Tron you didn't defend me. You let your family insult me and said nothing. We've been together for years and I'm just now meeting your family. How do you think that makes me feel?" She questioned.

"Claire I know I messed up—," Michelangelo huffed at his words. "So, di aver fatto un casino... idiota." He muttered. Those who understood his words shook their head.

"After everything was said and done. I went back to my mother's and told her that what happened was not acceptable. We ended up in a fight and she threw me out." Tron said.

Evie glanced at Chelle and Freddie. "I've been staying at Des's dad's place." He added. "Why didn't you say anything at the moment?" Claire asked.

"Because that's my mom. She's always taken care of me, and I trust her. I've never had a fight like this with her. This is the first time in my life that she's cut me off and truthfully I'm scared. What if we don't work out, then I've lost my mom." Tron said.

"Even if we didn't work out you're still family. I doubt Des, and the guys would cut you off. You and I are family." Claire told him. Tron nodded his head.

The room went silent for a moment before Claire looked at Evie. "Evie—I'm sorry." She said. Evie stared at her no emotion showing on her face. "I never should have spoken to you the way I did. I was angry and took it out on you." She said.

Evie sat silent. "I was jealous. You know who you are in every aspect and you're miles ahead of me in life and I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up." She said. "Claire—,"

"I know what you're going to say. I shouldn't be comparing myself to Evie. We're our own people. I know that, but it's not that easy. It's hard not to compare myself to her." She paused.

"It's hard to have to follow behind someone like Evie. She's amazing at everything she does. She has a spark about her that I just don't have." She spoke with a sigh.

"But why do you feel that way? You are just as amazing as your sister, it's just in a different way." Nonna said.

"It doesn't feel that way. She has so much going for herself and it's not just her the boys are the same. I'm already the odd person out in the house and it just feels like I can't measure up." She said.

"Nothing you're saying is reason enough for you to have behaved how you did," Evie said. "So, the boys and I have this spark you keep mentioning. Everyone does. The issue is you're too worried about what we're doing and not focusing on yourself. If you spent half as much time working on your stuff as you do watching us you'd probably feel better about yourself." She added.

"I—," Claire stammered. "I mean she kind of has a point," Erin said. "You can't improve your own situation if you're too focused on what your brothers and sister are doing. And you know if you need any guidance you can come to any of us. If you need a listening ear, a sounding board, or whatever we're here. You just have to try. Baby steps." Erin said.

Claire nodded her head before looking at Evie. "Evie I'm so sorry for what I said. You know how important you are to me, and I regret taking my anger for Tron out on you." Claire said.

Evie nodded her head. "I know you're sorry, and I understand you're scared, and before all of this I'd like to think you wouldn't intentionally try and hurt me, but you did." She said looking at Claire.

"You hurt my feelings because of a man. I'm one of your biggest supporters and defenders. I have always been by your side through everything." She said. "I know," Claire said dropping her head.
