"Oh there's my baby." My mama said pulling me into a tight hug. "Hi mommy." I smiled hugging her just as tight. "Giovanni!!" My mama yelled as she led us to the back. "Yes baby." My dad said looking at her with so much love as he scooped her into his arms. "Look who's here." He turned his attention to me before a huge smile appeared. "My babygirl." He yelled coming over and hugging me. I looked around my grandparents' home seeing my lovely family sitting around talking. "Evie!!!" I looked to my right seeing Alessio and Marcello running towards me.

"We missed you." Marcello said smiling. "Did you miss us?" Alessio asked. "Of course, i did." I couldn't help the smile that spread across my face as their face lit up at my words. They pulled me over to where they were playing. I sat with them for almost an hour playing and listening to their many stories. "Evie come here." My aunt Jas said. "Yes ma'am?" "So, I heard what that fake ass pit bull looking ass heifer said about Claire." I rolled my eyes ready go hunt her ass down. "But the real question is how bad did you beat that ass?" I was hollering. "Jas!!" My mama yelled as she tried to cover her laughter. "What that little girl needs a good ass whoopin. Especially how she uses that baby to get what she wants from Que. So?" I nodded my head telling them everything.

"That's my girl." I looked behind me seeing my daddy and uncles coming over. "Giovanni, we don't condone violence." My daddy smacked his lips. "Remember when you got into with Evie and Claire's ballet teacher. Or the twin's basketball, football, and track coaches." MY dad said before my aunt Erin jumped in. "Or when you threatened to drag the pastor's wife all through the sanctuary because she was flirting with Giovanni." "Then there was the time you almost ran over..." Uncle Hassan was about to start. "Okay damn!!" My mama said pouting. "Aww, baby." My dad tried to hug her but she scooted away, but he snatched her up and kissed her until she started smiling. I smiled looking at how cute my parents are.

"Happy birthday babygirl." My uncle Jason said. "Thank you." I smiled hugging him. My mama came over and linked our arms and led us out to the garage. I was about to explode from the excitement of getting my car. "Calm down." My dad laughed as he came and stood next to us covering my eyes. We walked a little farther until we came to a stop. My dad dropped his hand and I screamed. "You got me a G wagon!?" I said looking at my parents. After my daddy got my mama one it's all I talked about. "Well, I talked your father into it. You deserve it especially after making the dean's list." My mama said with a huge smile. "I just want you to know that we're very proud of the you." My daddy said hugging me. I kissed both their cheeks before running to my car.

Claire and I had pulled up to Chelle's place and waited for her to come out. "Bitch!!!" Chelle yelled as she came out looking at my car. "I fucking know!!" I said as she climbed in the back. "So where are we going?" I asked as I pulled off. "There's a kickback at Berg's place." Chelle suggested. I nodded my head before driving off.

"Milani, I want to see my daughter?" I asked growing annoyed. "I think we should cut back on the visiting for a while. She needs to be with her mother. If you would like to see her you can come over to my place." I closed my eyes taking a breath. "I swear if you try to keep my daughter from me..." "What!? You'll what!?" She yelled into the phone. "Why are you doing this? I thought we cleared up this beef you have with Evie." I said with a sigh. "Fuck that bitch. This isn't about her this about my daughter." She said before she hung up in my face.

"FUUCCK!!" I yelled about to throw my phone. "Que?" I turned seeing Jordynn standing there. I sighed. "I'm sorry J." She came over and hugged me. "Can I go to mama Naya's?" She asked looking up at me. "Let me call her and see okay?" She nodded her head before walking off. I looked at her before dialing up Mrs. Naya. "Hey, Que." She sang happily. "Hey Mrs. Naya. Jordynn wants to know if she can come over?" "Of course, we just wrapped up Evie's birthday so we have a bunch of cake and ice cream." She said. "Thank you, we should be by in 15 minutes."

We finally got to the Romano's place and J ran up to the door. I grabbed her bag and stood behind her as I rang the doorbell. A couple minutes later the door swung open. "Hey J." Uncle G said scooping her up. "Hi papa Gio." He smiled before putting her down and she ran off. "You good?" He asked as soon as he looked at me. I shook my head and walked in. "Milani is keeping Amara from me because I don't want to be with her annoying ass." I ground out.

We walked passed the living room to see Alessio, Marcello, Jordynn, and Isiah watching a movie. I followed Uncle G into the kitchen to see Mrs. Naya giving Langston a big bowl of popcorn. He nodded his head before walking out. "What's wrong?" She asked as she cleaned the few dishes that were in the sink. "Milani is acting like Milani." Uncle G said. I sat quietly. "Why don't you just get custody of Amara?" Mrs. Naya asked. "I don't have money to go through a custody battle." Uncle G came over and slapped my back. "Well lucky you. You have several wealthy aunts and uncles." I looked at them not believing them.

"We've watched you take the necessary steps to be a good father and we hate seeing you go through this." Mrs. Naya said hugging me. "Why don't you go out and chill with Tron and them? We'll watch Jordynn tonight and then we can talk about this more tomorrow." Uncle G said. I looked over at my sister as she stared at the tv. "Alright. I need to go blow off some steam anyways." I said nodding my head. I said goodnight to everyone and head out to my car. I looked at the text Tron sent my earlier about a kickback at Berg's place.

I pulled up to the house to hear a bunch of yelling coming from the inside. I made my way inside seeing several men trying to pull the girls apart and others arguing. I got a little closer to see Evie was trying to get around some guy. While Claire and Chelle were trying to push pass some other man. Tron, Des, and William were cussing out some of the other men. I was basically watching a big ass brawl about to break out. Then I heard Milani's voice. "Yeah, bitch you're a hoe just like your mama." Everyone in the room stopped moving. The man holding Evie back looked down at her and I watched as fear flashed across his face. "Whose mama are you talking about Milani? I know it's not mine because you're not crazy. So, who's mama you talking about?" She questioned in an eerily calm voice. "I shouldn't be surprised you're trying to steal my man. Although I'm not surprised hoeness runs all through your family." Evie sucked her teeth as she began to shake. Suddenly she kicked the guy who was holding her and charged at Milani before hitting her repeatedly. By the time any of us could get her off Milani was unconscious and barely breathing. I took her outside and she pushed me away. "Fuck you, Jacques! Stay the fuck away from me!" She yelled throwing the necklace I gave her at me. She climbed in her car with Claire and Chelle behind her before she sped off.
