Two weeks later

The kids had already left for school and today was the day of the guy's bail hearing. I walked out to my car and hit the freeway. As i was driving my phone started to ring. "Hello." I said putting my phone on the dash mount as Jas's face popped on my screen.

"We should have fucking killed Chris's bitch ass. I fucking swear. Just causing unnecessary problems." Jas yelled. "I really want to know what made him do all of this." Erin said being the rational one. "What?" Jas asked. "I just mean it's been what 2 years why all of a sudden is he just now pulling this shit?" Erin said making a lot of sense.

"I think it's because of Anaya." Jas said catching my attention. "Honestly you're probably right, but doing all of this is so extra." I sighed as i hit the highway. "Maybe you should talk to him." Erin always tried to kumbaya every situation. "Talk to him for what?" I scoffed. "I think she's right Naya." I almost swerved when i heard Jas say that.

"I mean if not to find for yourself then do it for the guys. You never know talking to him might just end all of this." Jas said making a little sense. "What about Dimitri? I don't think he going to let that go." I sighed. "Well if there isn't a compliant then they can't go through with the case. The boys come home and we can send Dimitri home to be with his family." My eyes widened. "Jas...I cannot deal with you, but Naya i think you should talk to Chris." I sat there driving think about what they said when Erin changed the conversation "Anyways I can't believe Milani's pregnant by Que at that. And then there's Des." Erin said.

"Don't remind me. I sat down and talked to Danielle and i can't stand her. But that's my possible future grandchild, so I'm going to deal with her." I chuckled. "I can't believe you're going to be a grandma first. I swear i thought it was going to be Anaya." Erin said.

"Excuse me." I said playfully rolling my eyes. "I don't know i just never pictured Jas as a grandma." I nodded my head. "Same." "Well thanks I really appreciate that." I chuckled. "Love you babymama." I said. She smiled.

It felt like old time and this was the most we all had just laughed in the past month.

I walked into the court house and down the hall to see Jas and Erin standing with the guy's lawyers, along with my aunt, Naomi and my mama. "Ah Mrs. Romano how are you feeling." I heard Giovanni's lawyer, Andrew ask but all my attention was on Chris who walked passed us smirking.

My whole demeanor changed. Erin and Jas nodded my way. My mama came over and rubbed my back. She had the same look on her face as me. "Him ave one time to try sup'm an mi a guh inna mi bag." My aunt said looking at me tapping her bag nodding her. My eyes widened before we all started laughing. "Auntie!?" She shrugged. "Nuh one crosses mi family." She said eyeing him.

"Ladies let's stay focused. Ladies we're here today to see if we can get the charges dropped. If the judge doesn't go in our favor we're going to try and get the judge to let them out on bail." Andrew said. We all nodded our heads and we went inside. I smiled when i saw Nonna sitting inside. We sat behind the defendant's seat and waited for the officers to bring the guys out.

"Yes bitch that's what I'm talking about." Jas said. Giovanni, Hassan, and Jason were all released on bail, but my daddy, Papa Lo, and all my uncles were denied. I hugged all of them before they were taken back. I hugged and kissed my mama and Nonna trying to give them some type of comfort as we waited for the boys to come out.

Jason and Hassan had all come out. "You want us to stay?" Hassan asked. I shook my head. "No you all go on and head home. "You sure?" Jason asked. "Yep I'm sure the kids will be happy to see you." I said. "Speaking of kids we need to talk about Des." Jas said as they walked off. Once an hour had hit i asked my mama and auntie if they could go home and check on the kids. "Nonna you don't have to stay its fine." She patted my hand and smiled. "I'm not leaving you hear alone, so catch me up since you don't come and visit me." She said pinching me.
