I sat on the couch watching my dad pace back and forth as my mom walked into the living room. "Am i in trouble or something?" Mama shook her head. "No, but we have something to tell you." She looked at daddy and he stopped walking and looked at her sighing. "After your mother passed there was rumors that I may not be your father." I looked at mama and she grabbed my hand. "What?" I said as tears began to form in my eyes.

"I had a d.n.a. test done." He said pausing. "You're not my dad." I said crying into my mama. She rubbed my back. "I don't care what the test say you are our daughter. Not matter what." Mama said. "Why are you telling me this now?" He sat on the table across from us. "There is this man that is saying he was with your mother at the same time she was with me." I looked at daddy and he looked heart broken. "This man wants to..." "No." He stopped and looked at me. "Sweetheart." "No, I don't need or want to meet him. I have you two." They smiled lightly.

"Are you sure you don't want to think about it?" I shook my head. "No." They nodded. "Alright baby girl you can go to your room." I hugged mama then turned to my dad pulling him into hug. "I love you daddy." "Love you too."

Evie (Friday night)

Alessio was lying in bed knocked out as i did a little homework. As I was working my laptop started ringing. "Yo." I said looking at the screen. "So there's a party tonight." Lani said cheesing. "And?" "And you have to come. It's senior year. Come on." Chelle yelled popping on to the screen. "Keep it down the Sio is sleeping." I said looking at him. "Sorry, but you have you come." I sighed. "Hold on."

I scrolled through my contacts. I watched as my phone rang. "Hello." Que said in this deep raspy sleepy voice. "Sorry baby did i wake you?" "Nah did you need something?" I chuckled. "There's a party tonight..." "Where?" He asked cutting me off. "Hold on."

"Where is this party at?" I said looking back at them. "You called your man." Chelle said smiling. "Shut up." "So you're coming?" Lani asked. "Depends on where it's at and who's throwing it. So where is it?" They looked at each other then back at me. "What?" "Well it's a couple of people throwing it." I nodded my head. "Like? Come on." "Alex, Courdrey, Jerry, and Javaughn." Everything they said came to a screeching halt.

"Javaughn. You think I'm going to a party that Javaughn's throwing." I pulled my phone to my ear. "Never mind." "Why? What's wrong?" Que asked. "Javaughn's throwing the party so just forget...." "I think you should go. I'll be by to pick you up around 10." He said hanging up. I looked at my phone shocked. "What? What did he say?" "He said he'll be by to get me at 10." They looked just as surprised as me. "This is going to be so bad." I mumbled.

After i hung up on Evie I got dressed and went by to scoop Tron and will. "Where's will?" Tron laughed. "His mama got his ass on lock because he snuck Rosie in last night." I laughed as i pulled off. As we were driving Des called my phone. "Ayo Des what's good?" Tron said. "What are yall about to get into?" Tron looked at me. "Que is about to take Evie to this party that Javaughn's throwing so he can beat his ass." The line went quiet for a minute before Des busted out laughing.

"You serious? One of yall send me the address I have to see this." We laughed as we pulled up in front of Evie's place. "I'll be back." I said jogging up to her front door. "Hey Claire." "Hey Que." She said stepping aside. I walked into the living room to see Mrs. Naya and Giovanni sitting in there playing with Marcello, Alessio, Langston and Isiah. I stood there as they laughed playing some board game. The only thing i could about was i never got that. "Oh hey Que." Mrs. Naya said looking up. "Hello Mrs. Naya." She stood up pulling me into a hug. "So where are you taking Evie?" Giovanni asked. "Yeah where are you taking Evie?" Langston and Isiah said mugging me. I chuckled. "Her girls wanted to go to a party so I thought Tron, Des, and I would go along and make sure everything runs smoothly." Giovanni's eyebrow rose and he nodded his head.
