After Evie left my attention turned back to Anaya. "Can you get off of me now?" She said with an attitude. "Anaya stop taking to like you don't know who i am." I said stepping away from her to lock the door. "How do you even know where i went today?" She asked as i turned around to see her with her arms crossed. "Blue told me." "And how the hell does Blue know where i was?" She questioned, her voice growing higher. I stared straight at her not saying anything. Her eyes widened as she put two and two together.

"You bastard. You had me fucking followed. How long?" she said throwing the nearest thing to her. Which happened to be the remote.

"After you were kidnapped. I was just being cautious." She stood there not saying anything. "God i can't stand you." She said with a sigh closing her eyes. "But i get it." She said walking towards me wrapping her arms around me. "Hassan told me how hard it was, especially on you." She softly spoke looking up at me. I looked away because she knew i didn't like talking about that time.

"He told me about how you trashed your office and the girls found you. He told me about when he found you crying, and i know what it means when you cry." I felt a lump in my throat as she retold those stories. She turned my attention back towards her. "I don't want to be the reason for you to feel like that ever again."

"It wasn't because of you i did all of those things. It was the absence of you not being there. Before i met you the only emotion i ever showed was anger." She made a face. "You still do but continue." I chuckled a bit. "See that shit right there. i love that i can be my hundred percent slef with you. Because there were many things that can piss me off and very few things that could calm me down. You were my first reason so when i get overzealous and protective it's because i don't want to lose you." She sniffed. "Giovanni can you sit down." She mumbled looking away from me. A nervous feeling fell over me.

"What's wrong?" I asked not moving. "I fucked up." She mumbled. She looked up at me. "I want you to know i love you and this happened when we were taking a break." I eyed her waiting to hear what she was going to say. She looked away from my gaze biting her lip. "Chris and i were talking about stuff and we got into some personal shit..."

I stood up walking towards her causing her to back up. "And what?"" I said tilting her chin up. She closed her eyes. "Did you fuck Chris?" Tears seeped through her closed eyes. "Yes." She croaked out finally looking at me with tears running down her face. I didn't realize i was crying also until i felt her wipe a tear away. I jerked away from her. "Did it mean anything?" I said back at her. "Giovanni..." "Answer the question." "I don't know. You and i were in a bad place. I messed up." I turned and walked out of our room leaving her standing there calling after me.

Anaya

It had been two weeks since Giovanni walked out. He would come and take the kids and not say so much as two words to me. Currently I'm sitting with Erin and Jas at my parent's place. "Sissy will you do my hair?" Livy asked with a mug on her face and this hot ass mess on her with our daddy following behind her. "Liv I got this." I cringe at the thought of him trying to do someone's hair. "Dad how about i do her head and you can go.... do something else."

He scoffed. "I know when I'm not wanted." He said kissing our foreheads then leaving. "Livy go get the stuff." She nodded a rushed off. "What did you do to my son-in-law?" My mama said popping me on the back of the head. "What are you talking about?" I looked behind her and saw Nonna standing there with her hands on her hips.

Anaya you're really losing your everlasting mind.) I groaned. "She has been spending far too much time with mama." I mumbled to myself. "Damn Naya what did you do?" Erin said as they all stared at me waiting. "I slept with Chris." I mumbled. "WHAT!?!?" They all yelled except for Nonna she was staring me down. "Why the hell would you do that?" Jas said hitting me. "Giovanni and i were taking a break. Yall remember how we were. I don't know it just happened." I said playing with my fingers. They all got quiet for a second. "Well it didn't mean anything, right?" Erin questioned.
