"Chelle where are we going?" I whined again as she continued to drive. "Hush." She said turning the radio up ignoring me. I sat back crossing my arms as she continued to drive. I sat up in my seat as a plain building came into view. "Bitch where the hell are we?" I said looking over at her. She smiled as we turned into the parking lot. "Get out of the car." Chelle said. I shook my head. "Oh hell no. You're not about to just bring me to some creepy deserted building. Nope. Nope. It doesn't work like that." Chelle rolled her eyes before yanking the door open. "Get out of the car." She said pulling me out.

I sighed as i trailed her as we went inside. It was pitch black and my heart was racing. "Chelle I'm going to stab you..." "SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!" I clutched my chest as i looked at everyone. "What?" "Happy birthday, babe." Chelle said smiling hugging me. I cheesed dancing a little making her laugh. "One more surprise." She said stepping aside. "Happy birthday sissy." Claire said smiling huge. I squealed as i pulled her into a hug. We hadn't seen eachother since march because i decided to stay on campus and take summer classes.

We walked around the party greeting people before we started to enjoy ourselves. I was dancing on some boy laughing with my girls. We were dancing around as the bass of the music bounced off our ears when it suddenly stopped. I looked around confused. "What the hell?" I said. "Everybody shut up." Chelle yelled as some men rolled out a screen. The screen turned on and my eyes lit up. "Happy birthday, baby." My mama face popped on the screen. She was sitting on the couch with Jordynn sitting next to her. "Giovanni!!" She yelled. "Do you want me to finish cooking dinner or not?!" He yelled back making everyone laugh. "Is this live?" I asked. "Yes baby. Hold let me go get this his annoying as..." Her voice trailed as she disappeared from the camera. "Look Evie, i drew you a birthday card." Jordy said holding up a card. I smiled. "Aww thank you sweetheart. When i come home next weekend I'll bring it back with me and hang it up in my room." Jordy smiled nodding her head. "Okay." She said as mama came back with daddy following her with my brothers trailing them.

"Damn, Evie your parents are sexy!!" Someone yelled and a few murmurs of agreement could be heard. "Evie!!" Marcello and Alessio yelled. "Chipmunks!!!" They laughed. "Hey Evie." Langston and Isiah said trying to sound hard. I raised an eyebrow. "Happy birthday big head." They said quickly before leaving. I shook my head.

"Hi daddy." I smiled waving. He chuckled. "Hey munchkin. Perché quel ragazzo è tutto su di te? Devo fare un viaggio laggiù?" (Why is that boy all up on you? Do I need to make a trip down there?) I looked at Claire and she had the same face as me. "Dad." I said annoyed. "Sempre reagire." (Always overreacting.) Mama said. "Anyways, we just wanted to say we hope you enjoy your birthday..." "Not too much though." Daddy said interrupting causing mama, Claire, and I to roll our eyes. "As I was saying we can't wait to see you next weekend." I smiled. "And we sent you a birthday present, too." Daddy said with a slick smile. "Gio." Mama said hitting him as she stood up. "What she'll be fine and if she isnt then i can always blame you." He said turning the camera off. "Evie your parents are hilarious." I made a stale face. "Yeah a real hoot." Everyone laughed as the party resumed.

I shook my head as I managed to get both Tron and Des's drunk asses home. I sighed as i headed back out to go get some food. I came across this quiet diner and decided to go inside. I looked around until my eyes stopped. I walked over to this booth that was in the corner. "Can I join you?" She looked up slowly before her mouth dropped. "Que? What are you doing down here?" I smiled. "It's your birthday." I said sliding in across her.

"You came all the way down here for little ole me?" She questioned making me chuckle. "Of course." She smiled looking away. "Milani and I aren't together." She rolled her eyes. "I wasn't going to ask about that." She said shrugging but i saw a faint smile on her face. I smacked my lips. "Sure" I said as the waitress came over and took our orders. "She had the baby you know?" She nodded her head. "I heard it was girl, congratulations." She said genuinely happy.

I smiled thinking about my baby girl. "Thank you. Do you want to see a picture?" I asked. Her smile grew wider and she nodded her head. I pulled out my phone pulling up a picture. "Awww she's so cute. Look at her chubby cheeks." She said laughing. "What's her name?" "Amari." She handed me my phone. "What?" She shook her head. "Evie?" I asked. "I told Milani that's the name i was going to give to my first daughter." She shrugged.

I made a face. "I regret ever sleeping with her." I mumbled to myself. "I've moved past being mad her. She's not worth my time or anger." She said as the waitress brought us our food.

We had finished eating and we were talking and laughing as we walked outside. "Where's your car?" I asked. "I took an Uber." She said. "I'll take you home." I offered looking down at her. "Um okay, thank you." She mumbled as we walked over to my car. "You and these trucks. Overcompensating much?" She questioned shaking her head. "You and I both know I don't have to overcompensate for anything." I whispered in her ear. I chuckled when i saw her shiver. I opened her door and waited for her climb in. She looked up at me with a slight mug on her face before giving me the finger. "Just say when." I said as she mugged me more.

As we were driving back to her place she grabbed my phone picking a song. I looked over at her and laughed.

"That is my song." She said as the song came to the end. "I can tell." I chuckled. We eventually pulled up to her place. "Well this is me." She went to get out but i grabbed her arm. She sat back as i got out the car and opened her door. "Thank you." I followed her inside and to her door. She looked up at me and smiled. "Good night Que." I wrapped my arms around her pulling into a tight hug. "Goodnight beautiful."
