~My heart hurts so fucking much~
Evangeline's PoV
It had been a while since the catch up I had with Caterina. She comes around every once in a while just to check up on me but other than that I'm completely on my own. It's been four months since I've seen Tobias. In these four months, I celebrated my birthday alone, got a job, bought myself a phone and I've settled in pretty nicely overall.
"Eva!," a voice shouted at me, making me wanna crawl in a hole and die. I stopped and faced the direction of the voice, waiting for them to come closer.
"Lucas!," I exclaimed feigning happiness with a tight lipped smile as he came towards me. He wrapped his arms around me pulling me in for a hug before pulling away. His hand rested on my waist as we walked.
I made a friend. He's a good friend but there's just certain things he does that I wish he didn't. For example, he calls me 'Eva' just like Tobias, he puts his hands on my waist just like Tobias used to although it feels much different. I just don't have the heart to tell him to stop.
"I've not seen you in a while," he said, making me roll my eyes and turn to face him. He was handsome but not as much as Tobi. Lucas was tall and muscular but if him and Tobi got in a fight I can guarantee that Tobias will win.
"You literally saw me an hour ago."
"An hour away from you felt like eternity," he said dramatically making me laugh.
"What can I say? I'm just so charismatic," I said joining in with a laugh.
"You use it then?," he asked me suddenly changing the subject. I shook my head, no. He let out a sigh. "If you don't know how to use it then-."
"You're not gonna help me," I stated firmly. I may have an issue with telling people when they're crossing the boundaries with certain things but things like this I can put my foot down and put a stop to it.
Lucas has helped me a lot with learning things. For some reason, he bought me a vibrator after I told him I had never heard of it. Don't even ask how that conversation came up because I'm still trying to figure that out myself.
He bought it me a couple of days ago and I've never used it. I just sit and stare at it.
"Fine," he sighed out. He's always hitting on me and made it clear how much he likes me. Even though I've barely lived a life, I managed to pick up on this. I've always shot him down.
My phone suddenly rang, making Lucas look at me on confusion. I quickly answered the call without looking to see who it was. "Hey Evangeline," a familiar voice said making my breath halt in my chest.
"Eros?," I said questioningly, my breath becoming shaky.
"It's me," he answered. "How've you been?"
"Good," I answered. "You?"
"Same." We stayed silent for a few moments. "Evangeline, we miss you."
"I miss you guys too," I told him truthfully.
"Tobias misses you," he added slowly.
"I miss him too," I said sadly.
"Come back then," he told me.
"He probably doesn't want me to," I told him. I have thought about it a million times but every time I thought about it, I realised that all I did was cause him and the rest of the boys problems after problems. I regret leaving but I did what I thought was best for me at the time.
"He does," he assured me. "He does and I do too. The rest of us do."
"I just-," I halted. "I caused you all so many problems. I don't want to cause you anymore."
"You didn't," he told me. "Save this number just in case you wanna come back."
"Wait. How'd you even get my number?"
"I'm Eros Moretti. It's an insult to me for you to think I wouldn't be able to do something so basic. Anyway, I'll catch you later."
He cut the call and I stayed silent thinking about the conversation. "Who's Eros?," Lucas asked me, reminding me of his presence. I had almost forgotten about him regardless of his hand of my waist.
"A friend."

"I say go back," Caterina shrugged as she drank wine from her glass. Just as I was about to reply, loud knocks sounded on the door. I let out a sigh and got up to answer it.
"Lucas? What are you doing here?," I asked as soon as I answered the door. He leaned against the doorframe, his hands stuffed into his pockets. I wasn't attracted to him at all. He had no similarities to Tobias. He was just good looking.
"I was in the neighbourhood and decided to drop by," he shrugged. "Sorry for coming by unannounced."
"It's fine but I'm kinda busy," I told him, sheepishly.
"Come on! What's taking so long?," a drunk Caterina yelled from the couch. I didn't reply to her as I let out a slight chuckle.
"I've got a guest," I told him. He nodded his head.
"Cool. Cool," he said, making me feel guilty.
"Wait," I said, instantly regretting opening my mouth. "If you want, you can come in." A smile landed on his face as he entered my apartment. A bad feeling settled in the pit of my stomach as I closed the door.
"Who's this?," Caterina asked, narrowing her eyes at me.
"Lucas. He's a friend," I answered curtly. "Lucas this is Caterina. Caterina, Lucas."
Lucas nodded his head at Caterina as he took a seat beside her. She instantly got up to grab a cup and poured him some wine before shoving the glass in his hand.
"So Lucas what's your intentions with my Evangeline?," she asked him as if she was my older sister.
"Good ones," he told her as he took a sip. "I can assure you."
"Great. I like you a tiny bit more than I did a minute ago. And that wasn't a lot."
"Great."
"Has Tobias reached out?," she asked me suddenly making me freeze and glare at her. She looked back at me with an innocent smile. She knows exactly what she's doing.
"No," I got out through gritted teeth even though she already knows the answer.
"Oh."
"Who's Tobias?"
