EMERALD'S POV::

"Oi, you know there's some new kid coming today right?" Matty asked me.

"Shit, really? What year is he in?" I frowned.

"He's in your year, there's another kid in my year but you probably aren't interested in him. Kellin will probably get him." Matty explained.

"Right, cheers." I nodded and walked over to the stairs leading to the bottom floor.

We'd been talking on the second floor because we needed privacy. Matty was the head boy at Clairemont Academy so he knew about all the new students but he wasn't allowed to tell anyone about them.

I was pretty much the leader of my year, everyone listened to me and people were afraid to say no to me for some reason. Kellin, Matty's best friend, ran the entire school.

When I was walking down the stairs I went straight through the middle, the crowd practically parting for me. One boy didn't move though, he just stood still and watched me.

I was pretty sure this was the new boy that Matty was talking about and I'm not going to lie he was pretty damn cute. I started walking slower when I caught his eye.

He started walking again when one of Kellin's cronies Ronnie pushed him, telling him to hurry up. I stood at the bottom of the stairs, crossing my arms over my chest and waited for him to turn around.

When he did I practically glared at him, smirking slightly when he blushed and began to jog up the stairs. I turned around a moment after he was gone and began walking towards my learning mentor.

* * *

Honestly, I'd forgotten all about the boy until I walked into my fourth lesson of the day, English. I walked into the class room, thinking it was going to be another uneventful lesson, when I noticed him sat in the empty seat next to mine.

I smiled to myself before walking over and sitting down in my seat. I'd be completely lying if I said that I didn't feel him staring at the side of my face.

I smirked and looked over at him before saying, "See something you like?"

"Yea- uh, no, not really." The dark-haired boy blushed slightly and looked down at his lap.

"Aw, that's cute. You're pretty hot by the way, just putting it out there. What's your name?" I asked.

"Uh, Isaac."

"I'm Emerald and I'm also leaving because this lesson fucking blows. Peace." I stood up and pulled my backpack onto my back.

"Sir, I'm leaving, I've got a meeting with Andrea." I lied, trying to get out of the lesson.

"Alright, is it about attendance or behaviour?" The teacher asked.

"Behaviour." I shrugged.

He nodded at me and signalled for me to leave. I pulled open the door and wasted no time in leaving and slamming it shut behind me.

Now my only problem was finding something to do for the rest of the hour until lunch.
