EMERALD'S POV::
1 YEAR LATER
I grinned as I walked out of the doors of the building where I attended my therapy sessions for the last time. I had spent three months in a minor's rehab and regularly went to group and private therapy sessions ever since.
It had really helped me realise that I turned to alcohol to try and drown out the pain of my father not being there for me. I didn't need to drown out the pain anymore because I had other people around me who loved and cared for me.
Isaac had stuck by my side through it all and he was honestly the one who motivated me to get through everything. I still remembered what he said to me when I woke up in that hospital bed though.
After a month of the therapy sessions I was allowed to really get back into the band and we finally released our first album. It did so much better than any of us ever thought it would.
The album went double-platinum in the UK and gold in the US and we were still selling thousands of records every day. Because of how much success we had with the album our label decided we should get into touring as soon as possible. This is why I had been packing all of last night for our first world tour alongside Pierce The Veil.
Everything in my life was pretty much perfect at the moment, even the weather was f*cking fabulous. It was summer so the sun was high in the sky and I honestly wanted to start skipping down the road towards my house.
As soon as I stepped over the threshold into my house, I kicked off my shoes and jogged up the stairs. I walked into my room to see Isaac sat on my bed reading a Cosmopolitan magazine.
"Damn, I understand that you get bored whilst you're waiting for me but I think you're getting a little too in touch with your feminine side." I laughed as I sat down next to him.
"Honestly, this is great; we can go shopping together and everything." He joked, wrapping an arm around my shoulder.
I tilted my head up and pressed a chaste kiss to his lips before sighing, "I can't believe I'm leaving tomorrow."
"I'll miss you. You're leaving me until April." Isaac pouted.
"That's only four months." I exclaimed.
"You're in America for most of it. That's like an eight hour time difference." He complained.
"Stop whining. The last two shows are in London anyway so you can watch me twice. The last shows are always the best anyway." I gently hit his chest with my hand.
Isaac chuckled and pulled me closer to him into an actual hug and I sighed again in content.
"You know what?" I spoke up.
"Hmm?" Isaac hummed.
"I love you too."

omg it's the end. i'm actually kind of sad, this is one of the first books i've actually finished and i'm so proud omg. so thank you to everyone who's read and commented and voted, especially the people who've done it on every chapter. there won't be a sequel because it's not necessary, i did have an idea for one so if loads of people want one then there might be one but it probably won't happen.
the other isaac fic i'm gonna write will be up soon when i finish loads of my other books but that may take a while because i have loads of other ideas for books. HOPEFULLY I MIGHT BE ABLE TO FINISH A.D.D TONIGHT.
i still haven't finished the playlist for this 'cause there's 20 chapters but only 19 songs in the playlist but i can't find what song i'm missing so that'll be done when i figure that out.
