*so i changed my mind again about who played emerald because even tho taylor momsen is bloody beautiful i didn't feel like she suited the character so after like ages of searching for models and what not i finally decided on a girl called violet ell. she's got this whole grunge vibe going and that's really what i wanted for emerald.

ALSO, sorry this chapter is so short. it's only really here to move the story along so the next chapter will definitely be up tonight and i'll make sure i update tomorrow too :) the playlist for this book will be finished soon so i'll post that whenever i can :D*

ISAAC'S POV::

I sighed heavily as I paced around my room for what might be the fifth time today. After Emerald kissed me earlier I honestly didn't know what to do, I was pretty much just sat there staring at her until the bell rang telling us to get to our next lesson.

I wanted to talk to her to ask her why she did it but I couldn't find the courage to do it. I don't know why she'd actually want to kiss me when there are boys throughout the whole school who would line up for hours just to kiss her on the cheek let alone be kissed by her properly.

I really didn't know what to do because I think I was truly in love with her or something like that even though I've only known her for a day. Technically I've known her for two but I'm not sure if her sitting down next to me, telling me I was hot and then walking out of the room counts as me knowing her or not.

I was pretty much waiting for her to message me to say something because I knew I certainly wasn't going to be the one to speak up first. I actually felt sick because of how anxious I was so when the quiet facebook notification sound came out of my laptop speakers I jumped more than I should've.

'sorry about earlier. i should've asked you first or whatever. :('

The sad face at the end broke my heart because I could tell she felt pretty bad about the kiss. Honestly it was my fault for sitting there like a d*ckhead afterwards instead of saying something.

I clearly liked her because I blushed whenever she said something and it wasn't exactly subtle so she clearly knew that I at least had a little schoolboy crush on her.

'it's fine. between you and me, i kinda liked it' I sent back.

I have no idea where that sudden burst of confidence came from but I'm glad about it because there was no way the everyday, socially awkward Isaac would've been able to send that.

'your secret's safe with me ;). wanna come over tomorrow to work on this project?' The notification sound brought me back from whatever daze I was in.

'yeah, sure.' I sent back with a small smile playing on my lips.
